Dr. Phyllis W. Speiser is Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology at Cohen Children's Medical Center of NY and Professor of Pediatrics at Hofstra North Shore LIJ School of Medicine. She also serves as an Associate Investigator at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research with a long-standing interest in congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) and related disorders. She has published and lectured widely on these topics. She served as Chair of The Endocrine Society Task Force for Clinical Practice Guidelines for CAH and is on the Medical Advisory Boards of The CARES Foundation and the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation. Dr. Speiser evaluates and treats a wide array of hormonal disorders of childhood and adolescence affecting growth and puberty.
I strive to deliver quality care to infants, children, and adolescent to age 18 years affected by endocrine disorders. My approach is evidence-based, conforming to best current practice guidelines, taking into account the individual's needs, as well as those of the family. I have been listed among the New York's Top Doctors by Castle Connolly, Best Doctors, & New York Magazine.
