Helpful staff and doctor truly invested in the well-being of his patients.

I created an account with Healthgrades just to promote Dr. Lim to other patient's with chronic pain. Completely disregard the past reviews: Dr. Lim is a magnificient doctor who takes his time to get to know his patients. At my consult, he did a thorough physical exam and ordered an injection specific to the pain I was having in my low back. After undergoing the injection, I've had no pain for the last 6 months. His staff is phenomenal and kind-hearted, not to mention gorgeous.

Despite reading disappointing comments, I elected to give Dr. Lim the benefit of the doubt - BIG mistake! Staff did not return calls for appt., waited 2 hrs in waiting room for consult. Prior to procedure, a catheter was inserted for a sedative to be administered before the actual procedure then only AFTER the procedure was done did they ask me if I had wanted the "relaxing medicine". They joked around about it with an "oh well" attitude. Would NOT recommend!

A couple members of the support staff are a little unorganized and can be difficult to communicate with over the phone. However, I have had excellent experiences with the practitioners. They are very knowledgeable about cutting edge treatments and work hard to answer every question I have. They are appropriately cautious when determining a treatment plan and are always respectful towards patients and others. It really feels like they care about their patients' well-being and enjoy their work.

Office staff was incompetent and said they couldn't see me because their internet was down and I was late to my appointment. I was technically 20 minutes early to my "actual" appointment. I sat in the waiting room for 10 minutes and no one greeted me or gave me papers to fill out. Then the nurse tells me "I can't be seen because I'm late and I didn't fill out papers." The whole office shut down because of the internet. Who doesn't have a back-up plan or new patient papers printed out?

Really poor skiils for injection. Needle was not properly shot to arm which caused bleeding.

Dr. Lim is very knowledgeable and they are very accommodating regarding scheduling. On my first consultation visit, I was seen and diagnosed by his Nurse Practitioner. I have many health conditions and take numerous medications. However, a new one that was prescribed I found out later reacted negatively to a current medication I am taking and would exacerbate some of my current ailments. On my second visit I had to remind them of some information that I had previously given the staff.

This doctor has a chip on his shoulder. He is a control freak and believes his way or no way is the answer. He is very condescending and provides alternate forms of pain management that when proved unsuccessful, blames the patient for their failure to provide positive results. In my opinion, there are far better M.D.'s located close by that can provide you with superior healthcare. He has little experience, and it shows.
There is no blame, but their must be trust. Take care of yourself.
