I had a series of 3 once a week Brachytherapy Radiation treatments. Dr Shrake and his Nurse, Natalie gave me a detailed explanation of how the procedure was done. Natalie, my nurse, was with me during the entire visit each time making sure I was comfortable, didn't need anything and not left waiting alone in a room on an exam table. I have never had a more compassionate, attentive Medical team for a procedure.

Dr Philip Shrake is an excellent doctor with a good bedside manner and a great support team making a visit to his office a very pleasant experience. I would recommend Dr Shrake to anyone who has prostrate cancer because he explains everything clearly and is not pushy but makes recomendations only based on the individuals.

I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and I was referred to Dr. Shrake for treatment. He and my urologist performed seed implant surgery and three weeks post-surgery I went to Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia for 35 external beam radiation sessions. Throughout the entire process, I found Dr. Shrake to be a very knowledgeable and caring physician. He explained every process in detail and answered my questions with easy to understand explanations. His staff, from the receptionists, schedulers, radiation therapists, nurses, and associated physicians, provided efficient and excellent care. Everyone was incredibly friendly and customer-focused. I recommend Dr. Shrake and his practice very highly.

When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, I was referred to Dr. Shrake by my urologist to learn more about radiation therapy. Dr. Shrake was very thorough discussing each treatment option, the pros and the cons. I elected to have seed implant surgery followed by 35 rounds of external radiation therapy. Dr. Shrake directed everything and I could not be happier with my treatment and care. From the receptionists to the radiation techs to the nurses and to the doctors who filled in for him when he was in surgery, everyone at his location treated me with respect and compassion. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Shrake and his staff to anyone considering radiation therapy.

I am writing to thank your entire staff and you for the excellent care I received during my visit to your office October 2019 at Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia in Lawrenceville. After being diagnose with prostate cancer, I felt like I was going to soon die. While at Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia I was greeted by a very courteous and professional staff that took the time to go the extra mile. Each day that I reported for my treatment, the staff made a point to keep a smile on my face. I want to say thank you to the front desk staff, all the nurses, and all of the radiation technicians for being the best. December 4, 2019 will be my last treatment day but, not my last visit. Dr. Shrake is a top Doctor, that will give you his best. If anyone out there is unsure about what to do or where to go for treatment, look no further. You will get the best treatment and care at Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia under the care of Doctor Philip D. Shrake and his staff.

I went in with prostate cancer and, three months later, came out totally cured! He is a great guy, but his staff is the best part of his practice! I was greeted with a smile, called by my name, and never had to wait an excessive amount of time. Thanks to everyone at Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia! ??????

Dr. Shrake and his entire staff made us feel like we were family. They not only treated me with kindness and compassion but also my family members who came with me to treatments. We always feel at home when we come in the doors. The office staff is all smiles as soon as they see you. Everyone you come in contact with asks how you are and if you need anything and will do anything they can to help you feel better. They always have a big puzzle going in the lobby that your family members can do while they're waiting for you, and there is a coffee/tea station to welcome you along with a water station to make sure you get enough water in! My appointments always ran on time and were never late during the entire time we've been going to the clinic. Everything runs like clockwork. I can't express how wonderful Dr. Shrake and everyone in his office is, from the techs to the nurses, the nutritionists and front office. It was a blessing to have found such a caring place to receive treatment.

Dr. Shrake and his Lawrenceville facility treated me for prostate cancer in 2009. Since then I have had annual appointments with him to followup on my condition. From the beginning Dr. Shrake was very professional with me, answered all my questions, and made me feel that he took a personal interest in my condition. I would highly recommend Dr. Shrake and his Lawrenceville staff without any reservation.

At a difficult time in our life, Dr. Shrake and his entire office staff calmed us through their kindness, their efficiency, and their willingness to go the extra mile to answer questions and provide information. From the front desk, to the radiation technicians, to the nurses, and even to the two doctors who filled in when Dr. Shrake was out, every health provider was kind and took time to address any concerns or questions we might have. They made a new and unknown place in our life less tense, less dark, and more hopeful. We appreciate them more than they could know. The initial outcome of treatment was the best we could have hoped for in a long treatment.

My first visit with Dr. Philip Shrake began with a measure of nervous anxiety after being referred to him by my Urologist. After 5 minutes I knew that he was the doctor I needed. Not only did he make me feel comfortable but he listened carefully to me and answered every question with patience and optimism. He outlined a number of choices and allowed me to consider the options including not starting any treatment immediately. After my choice of radiation I met his team of technicians who welcomed me with open arms - literally with a big hug from the team lead. From the first day each session began with a warm smile and greeting by the receptionist. Each treatment was started on time. Interacting with the technical staff was at the highest level of professionalism. They were competent, friendly, and encouraging. At the end of the treatment my Urology was extremely happy with the result from the test. I would, with great confidence, recommend anyone to Dr. Shrake with oncology needs

I needed a local radiation oncologist and Dr Shrake was recommended by a friend. I could not be more pleased with the staff and personal care provided. They were very compassionate wit the care. The paperwork process was very easy to handle and they set-up a payment plan for my portion of the costs. I went through radiation treatment for 35 days.

The absolute best. How fortunate I was to have Dr Shrake as my Radiation Oncologist. Cancer is scary enough without having a medical professional to help guide & coach you through it. It's something that I'd never experienced before & I didn't know what I didn't know. Dr Shrake (and his excellent staff) anticipated questions / conditions / situations and were there to help me through it all. As questions & concerns came up, Dr Shrake took the time to provide answers and offer his council. The man is very good at what he does.
