This content was provided by Dr. Kregor "Dr. Kregor is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and orthopaedic traumatologist specializing in pelvic and acetabular trauma. He graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky, in Lexington, Kentucky, and earned his medical degree at Vanderbilt School of Medicine, in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Kregor earned a master's of business administration at the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management. He completed his surgical internship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. While in Washington, Dr. Kregor was awarded the first International Fellowship in Pelvic and Acetabular Trauma and he has completed the AO Jack McDaniel Fellowship in trauma, studying in Germany and Switzerland. Prior to coming to the Hughston Clinic, Dr. Kregor served as director of the Hip and Fracture Institute and as associate professor in the orthopaedic surgery division of Meharry Medical College. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopedic Trauma Association, the American Orthopaedic Association, and other international and regional organizations. He has published in major orthopaedic and trauma medical journals and presents his scientific research at national meetings and symposiums. He plans to continue his research interests through the Hughston Foundation, Inc."

Dr. Kregor was an amazing surgeon and took great care of my husband after an extremely traumatic injury. If I could leave this review based purely on that, he would have all 5 stars. Unfortunately our horrible experience with him has come after my husband was released from his medical care. As of...more

During my first visit, he took time to get to know me. He could have just looked at my x-ray and said get the nurse to schedule surgery, but he did not. He took at least 45 minutes explaining my procedure and getting to know what my life style was.
