Dr. Heyman was friendly, personable, and took lots of time to explain what was going on with my hand and to go over the X-rays with me. He has an easy, relaxed manner that made me feel instantly comfortable.

Hmmm, doc was, vague, uninterested. Unable or unwilling to determine cause of wrist pain, had never seen wire in a wrist repair-it was placed to hold a small bony area together. Who knows why after so many yrs I am losing feeling/ability to use wrist/hand. Thought there was hope for it-being right-handed it's sorta important. He asked what I thought twice but I've yet to complete an orthopedic residency. I avoid reviewing but received a link on my phone requesting it per HSA, how fun!!!!!

Dr. Heyman is an amazing surgeon! He operated to fix my wrist on 8/14. I already have almost full range of motion and it is only 10/21. He was very professional, as is his staff. Dr. Heyman took the time to answer all my questions; I never felt like I was being rushed. I would highly recommend him! Thank you Dr. Heyman!

In my line of work, I interact with physicians of all specialties. When I needed a hand surgeon, The physicians’ pick was Dr. Heyman. He performed an LRTI on my right hand 5 years ago for CMC arthritis -and the result was phenomenal. No bone on bone pain anymore and full return of range of motion and strength. This year on my left hand -he recommended a CMC sling arthroplasty. I had the surgery a couple of months ago with less post op pain and quicker recovery. He is tops in my book!

I came to see Dr. Heyman after crashing my bicycle and breaking and dislocating my thumb. He gave me the option of having surgery to fix the break or just letting it heal on its own. I opted for the surgery to retain full range of motion, and now nearly 4 months post-op, I'm very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend his years of experience. He handled everything very professionally and did his best to make me feel comfortable with the procedure.

Dr. Heyman has been a really great doctor so far, and did a wonderful job explaining my procedure and helping me feel comfortable. He also took the time to spend time with me and my family before my procedure so that we were on the same page. I was seen in the emergency department for a tendon laceration on Friday and he was able to get me scheduled on Monday and surgery on Tuesday. I felt like he had a sense of urgency and was able to get me in as soon as possible.
