Best Doctor I have ever had! I came to Dr. Barr because I was diagnosed with a rare blood disease that is a gateway into a terminal form cancer, Multiple Myeloma. I was given a 3.6% chance of not getting this cancer. Dr. Barr began working on balancing my body. The most simple of issues. I thought it was crazy, since I had other major problems. But with each small issue he help me resolve - the big issues began to fall away. He then began to deal with my "whole". He was the only doctor I ever encountered that believed and acted on treating all of me. And treating the root not the symptoms. And many of the treatments were natural. And they worked. I couldn't believe it. I feel better now than I have felt in many years. Before I was up to 12 to 14 hours in bed everyday. Unable to function. The quality of my life was poor, needless to say. I am getting better and better everyday as I implement the final items Dr. Barr suggested before he left N.C. 5 star rating.

We brought our teenage daughter to Urgent Care on a Sunday afternoon with possible neurological issues. Dr. Barr was thorough, patient and kind with her. He listened to our concerns and spent quite a long time discussing her situation with us. My husband had been there a year or two prior for a respiratory issue and had the same experience with him. We appreciate how much time he spends with patients, and would definitely recommend him.

I have been treated by Dr. Barr several times. On each occasion, he was professional, understanding, sincere and helpful. He has always went above and beyond when it came to treating me. I appreciate the fact that he is willing to address issues beyond Western Medicine and takes the time with explaining each situation in detail. The staff at the Med Center is exceptional as well!! Although Urgent Cares do not take appointments, the wait is so much better than the ER!!

I went to urgent care for upper respiratory symptoms and persistent coughing. Philip Barr was kind, compassionate and thoroughly explained his thoughts regarding my symptoms AND the course of treatment. He never appeared rushed and his warmth and care was very soothing as I was nervous never having had such a bad upper respiratory problem before. I would not hesitate to see Philip Barr again nor any of my family.

Dr Barr saw my 16 year old daughter at an urgent care. during that visit I had my 10 year old with me as well .hen he entered the room after waiting an hour and a half, his first words were does the whole family after be here? Considering my daughter is a minor, absolutely. My daughter answered some of his questions but left out her high temperature. When I told him he put up his hand and rudely said let her answer the questions. Never experience a Dr being so rude in my life.
