It has taken me two years to recover about 80% of the function I lost in my right arm due to Dr Pakzaban apparently rushing thru his scheduled surgeries. While he did successfully resolve the issues I was having in my left arm due to spinal stenosis, he refused to treat or even fully investigate the post-operative issue I was having with my right arm. After an MRI found a time quarter inch tear in my rotator cuff, he blamed the issue on that and sent me to an orthopedic surgeon. I, instead went to my own orthopedic surgeon who immediately grasped that the issue was not related to my rotator cuff. Instead, he sent me to another neurosurgeon who found that the C4 and C5 nerves to my right arm were extremely inflamed either due to the size of the discs that Dr Pakzaban used in my fusion surgery or because he rushed the surgery and did not "do his due diligence and ensure equal spacing" on both sides on my neck (quote from the neurosurgeon).

Dr Pakzaban performed the fusion on my C5, C6, and V7 vertebrae. He did an amazing job. I have heard horror stories from people that had the same type of procedures and they were horrible. For me, all my pain is completely gone and I have had zero issues. I was sore through recovery, as expected, but once it went away, I was like new all over again. Im coming up on 2 years since my surgery and I have returned to a normal life. I've heard there have been issues with him being cold and unfriendly. I took him as being serious and all business which is a good thing in my opinion. I want a good surgeon, not a friendly comedian. I personally would recommend him for my type of surgery and am very thankful to him for doing such a great job. Thank You Dr. Pakzaban!

He spent less than 5 minutes with me. Didn't want to hear about passed back problems. He didn't want to hear that I had the pain management injections several years ago (8 up on side and 8 down the other side) that didn't help. I didn't even have a chance to tell him that it hurts to stand, sit or lay down. He left me feeling that the pain in my lower back was all in my head. I have been going to my primary care doctor for antiinflammation injections and that they haven't done any good.

Dr. P performed a discectomy on me in April 2020. I was in extreme pain. I could not sleep, sit, stand, walk ...I was miserable! Now, I feel like a brand new person! I’m a registered nurse and did my research before seeing Dr. P, and let me tell you, he completely exceeded my expectations. I was extremely afraid to have surgery but I have no regrets. My appreciation for such a talented, brilliant soul, is beyond measure.

Dr. Pakzaban did my first lumbar fusion in 2008 and my most recent in 2018. I was told by several doctors before my first operation that if it were them Dr Pakzaban would be the only one to operate on their back. I am in total agreement, as I’ve had 2 successful operations now. We even brought my mother in law to him for a neck fusion. He is an excellent surgeon and is held in the highest esteem by fellow doctors and patients as well. I would highly recommend him

Back in 2011 I needed neck fusion surgery. Dr.Pakzaban did the surgery and I had an excellent recovery with my pain and problems completely eliminated and no further problems at all. So in Nov. 2017 when I knew I needed lower back surgery Dr. Pakzaban was who I knew I needed to go see. He evaluated my situation and confirmed what I thought I needed. He advised me I needed to have L5 and S1 fusion surgery. He said that my problem could not be corrected by decompression surgery. I have since had

After reviewing my MRI film Dr Peyman Pakzaban showed me exactly how he would correct the acute condition causing my disabling pain, but also made it clear that surgery would not relieve chronic long-term arthritis pain. I appreciated his honesty, and trusted that he could and would help me. My successful micro-surgery was nine days ago and I've had minimal pain, with no complications. Thank you Dr. Pakzaban, Bayshore Day Surgery team, and all of my nurses and support personnel!

Surgery was performed well. It's the aftercare that's the problem. He's nowhere to be found and only wants to prescribe medication from afar. Started my grandfather on muscle relaxers post-surgery to help with twitching when his kidneys only function at 20 percent. They put him in a coma and he is STILL in ICU with now a trach and unable to control CO2 levels. Everything would have been fine if he would have taken the time to come and talk to us in the hospital instead of prescribing from afar
