Dr Peter Tarbox and the staff at NCSA are tremendous!!! from the moment I called for my first appt through all steps of my neurological care I continue to be impressed. I have a couple, long time neurological issues; I am thrilled to find NCSA. From reviewing the very organized & detailed website, to the front office staff, to the very kind, helpful & well informed nursing staff, to the great doctor attention, just outstanding. Dr Tarbox is so knowledgeable, caring, pleasant, so great with explanations; he kept me on track, performed a thorough exam and is so genuine. What an asset to the medical community, a truly outstanding Neurologist! I feel blessed and honored to be a patient at NCSA!

Similar to Previous Reviews. Unprofessional, focus not directed towards patient, carelessness in delivery of health information, not clearly explaining health information and/or medications prior to prescribing. It is unfortunate that this office does not handle complicated cases with more medical supervision and office run mostly by PAs, NP and 1 physician. Documentation in record not representative to truth what actually happened.

The office staff is incompetent. The visit I had with the PA was rushed. I think she was running behind and trying to catch up or she just does not care. Dr Tarbox listed and the assessment was thorough. Unfortunately the office staff's lack of knowledge and inability to answer simple questions resulted in me having to fire Dr Tarbox. I was told "I'll ask the doctor and call you back." I waited a week without a call so i called. Still no answer and i was told "well...the doctor is very busy."

I like Dr Tarbox. He’s very thorough. I haven’t seen him the last 2 times I came in. I have seen his PA. She’s thorough as well.

Worst Doctors office ever. Took 10 months to get in and 4 months to get my medication ordered and they STILL haven't scheduled my injections. I've now been off of Botox for a year and absolutely no empathy from staff. They won't even call you back...ever! How is this Dr still practicing?

I think he is very concise in his descriptions and asks questions. At one time I had difficulty getting to a person with their phone system but now it seems they have fixed whatever was going on with it. The clinic manager is very good and focuses on patient care.

I've had one visit w/Dr. The next was for tests, office called to cancel test until insurance approved the tests, two months and still no appointment. Left messages w/Frank and Andrea to return call and reschedule tests, they never returned calls. I called insurance myself to ask what the hold up is, they said they're waiting to here from doctors office. Three months waste of precious time, find another doctor. To be foretold is to be forewarned.

To me, when it comes to a point that I need a neurologist, I want to see the specialist, not a physician assistant, and for any appointment that I would need with Dr. Tarbox, if I needed a "soon" follow up or review it'd take at least 6 months in advance to take an appointment, for the PA would only be 2 or 3 months, this includes if I needed to reschedule for whatever reason. To get extra refills on a vitamin that was prescribed I needed an appointment, but I couldn't get one soon enough.
