About Me

Care Philosophy

My philosophy of care is to listen and understand the concerns and symptoms of each patient. We will first explore nonsurgical treatments to alleviate the pain. If those are not effective, then we will look at surgical options to improve the patient'...

I had sought care previous to Dr. Nora with another neurosurgical team (multiple scans, steroid injections, etc ) with negative results and their last recommendation - major multilevel cervical and lumbar surgeries. I sought out a 'second opinion' from Dr. Nora after excellent reviews from two of his clients. Absolutely best decision I and my wife (an operating room nurse) have made concerning my major spinal 'issues'. His professionalism, care and concern for patient welfare outstanding.

Dr Nora put a lot of effort into figuring out the cause of my pain, but he and his team left me in limbo several times waiting for findings/next steps, sometimes for many weeks, in spite of calling them multiple times, which left me increasingly anxious and in ongoing pain. Dr Nora was 30 min or more late to every appt and always acted rushed. Although my back surgery was only minimally helpful, I believe he's a good surgeon, but has lost sight of the non-surgical aspects of treating patients

I had an excellent outcome with a very complicated surgery following five fractures in my neck. My case was studied in advance by a team of 16 Neurosurgeons. The outcome far surpassed the anticipated results. Dr. Nora is highly skilled and also extremely compassionate.
