Care Philosophy

My philosophy of care is to listen and understand the concerns and symptoms of each patient. We will first explore nonsurgical treatments to alleviate the pain. If those are not effective, then we will look at surgical options to improve the patient's quality of life. I would like each and every patient and their family members to leave my office with the comfort of understanding the next phase of their care with all questions answered.Read more

Seattle, WA |
Dr Nora put a lot of effort into figuring out the cause of my pain, but he and his team left me in limbo several times waiting for findings/next steps, sometimes for many weeks, in spite of calling them multiple times, which left me increasingly anxious and in ongoing pain. Dr Nora was 30 min or more late to every appt and always acted rushed. Although my back surgery was only minimally helpful, I believe he's a good surgeon, but has lost sight of the non-surgical aspects of treating patients
Seattle, WA |
I had an excellent outcome with a very complicated surgery following five fractures in my neck. My case was studied in advance by a team of 16 Neurosurgeons. The outcome far surpassed the anticipated results. Dr. Nora is highly skilled and also extremely compassionate.
