Had two surgery's the first I had a hip replacement the second was hardware removal both surgery's went extremely well , hats off to Dr Loeb and his staff

The most uncaring a doctor that ive ever met. He refused to deal with me on any level other than to down grade every injury that i have. I was told to get another job instead of him fixing me,something that ive been doing for 35 years. In the real world this is not possible but in peter loebs world he really could give a crap what you do.....I wouldnt recommend him to my dog let alone a living person that truly needs help, you wont get it from him..Suggestions/dont get involved from this office!!

My review is for Dr. Loeb and all of his staff. From the beginning, I was always hesitant on asking for a 2nd opinion but after entering his office and being greeted by the staff in front, I was quickly reassured that my decision to see Dr. Loeb was headed in the right direction. Spent about 10 minutes in the lobby, back to the exam room, x-rays and within about 10 minutes- Dr. Loeb, Mark his PA and I were discussing my course of action. I am on the road to recovery pain free. Thank U

Dr . Peter Loeb was a very good surgeon. He's was very professional and knowledgeable . He made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands. If I ever need surgery again . I will not hesitate to come back.
in Tallahassee, FL |
Dr. Peter Loeb presented me my options after exam and his professional opinion (which I have the most respect) and, as it should be, left the final decision up to me. I could not have had a more professional, caring, knowledgeable Surgeon. He walked me through the process with clear and precise instruction and let me know ahead of time what to expect.. Surgery was scheduled and completed in a timely and courteous manner. Would, and do, recommend Dr. Peter Loeb for Orthopedic needs.

I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Loeb. His office staff was great. Got very good communication from Dr. Loeb and his PA Mark. I found Dr. Loeb to be very positive, especially the day of the surgery when I was very apprehensive and while in the hospital.

Dr. Loeb is an immensely talented surgeon. He quickly assesses the situation and provides clear and concise advice and recommendations. You can trust your health to Dr. Loeb and I absolutely recommend him as a physician and surgeon.

Excellent results from laparoscopy on left knee in 1992ish. Been back twice since for other issues. Friendly, efficient staff. Excellent care. Never had to wait long. Doctor attentive, friendly and focused. I'm very happy with Dr. Loeb and the facility! I very much appreciated his advice in 2015 to avoid surgery on my foot if possible. He indicated that foot surgery frequently has a poor outcome.
Tallahassee, FL |
This doctor won't even agree to see you until they see your medical records. I would be going to him for a foot issue- what records to they want? No explanation given by staff. Just a curt: "This is the rule." What exactly are they looking for and why? A prospective patient has a right to know what they are being "screened" for (?) Will not go through their ludicrous procedure to attempt to see them when they don't even specialize in feet, which is what I need!

Very smart, thorough doctor. In my experience he favors PT regimen over surgery, which I really liked. I have and will continue to recommend him to others.

I have been a patient of Dr. Loeb for over 20 years. He has done knee replacement surgery and rotator cuff reconstruction for me. Priority to my knee replacements he recommended several alternative to relieve pain. Dr. Loeb is a very busy surgeon and may appear to be blunt and to the point. But follow his protocol and you will be successful. He has always been courteous. My mobility is directly relationed to his expertise. He is the only orthopedic surgeon I ever want to see.
in Tallahassee, Fla |
I fell & damaged my shoulder very badly. The 1st orthopedic doc my ins sent me to was not at all positive about being able to repair it. He told me I would have a long ugly scar. I asked for a 2nd opinion & requested Dr. Loeb. Dr. Loeb agreed it was very damaged, but would be able to repair it with five very small incisions. Dr. Loeb did exactly as he had said. My shoulder works great & gives me no problems at all. I can't even find the scars! He's a caring doc with a kind & caring staff.
Tallahassee, FL |
I would most definitely recommend Dr. Peter Loeb to family and friends due to the fact that the surgery was a success. While it is apparent that Dr. Peter Loeb is a great surgeon however he lacks interpersonal skills. With the 4-5 visits I had at his office he probably greeted my once upon entering the observation room. But, the front office staff, his PA, and the Rehab facility he recommended makes up for his disconnection with patients.
in Tallahassee, FL |
Dr, Loeb is an exceptional surgeon. Having had one rotator cuff surgery performed 5 years ago by him, I did not hesitate to return when I experienced the same problem with my other shoulder. He and his PA are detailed, thorough and accommodating.
in Tallahassee, FL |
Very professional and thorough.
in Monticello, FL |
Dr. Loeb's level of expertise makes me confident of his decisions and surgical skills. He explains procedures thoroughly and answers questions until he is sure I understand. I was so impressed with the results of my knee replacement, I went back for the second knee replacement. His staff is equally exceptional. Mark the PA is kind, intelligent and professional. He takes his time putting patients at ease . The x-ray techs are all skilled, good-humored and friendly. Quality top to bottom.

Dr. Loeb replaced my right knee on March 30, 2016. Prior to surgery, I had severe pain in the knee he replaced. That pain is now gone. I believe that my recovery has been excellent and is nearly complete as of this date (July 13). Dr. Loeb has been honest and straight with me in all respects. He accurately described the recovery process and I encountered not surprises. His support staff were polite and knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better experience.
in Tallahassee, FL |
Dr. Loeb is condescending and does not listen to his patients.
in Tallahassee, FL |
This office is the oddest of any physician I have ever dealt with, they do not see you, until they see your records and then they tell their receptionist yeah or nay, with no explanation. I have never dealt or heard of a physician like this, I would not recommend these people.
in Tallahassee, FL |
I went to Dr. Loeb concerning a problem with my shoulder. His exam & diagnosis were practical & well explained to me. My pre-surgery prep by his staff made the upcoming procedure less worrisome. The result from his surgery was fantastic. The post-op treatment by his office was equally superlative. He has a very busy practice, which might make he & his staff appear less coddling to the patients. However, he & his staff are very professional & extremely skilled in what they do. Quality counts.
in Tallahassee, FL |
Dr. Loeb was able to get me in for a consultation for a torn meniscus on the same day and schedule me for surgery within a couple of weeks. While I had a longer wait time for the same day visit, this seemed reasonable given the short notice. Furthermore, other Orthopedists were not booking consultations for 2 to 4 months out. I was able to schedule the surgery within a couple of weeks of the consultation and my recovery progress is as explained.

My first experience was over 25 years ago. My oldest son broke the same hand twice playing sports. Then 6 years ago, I sought treatment for tennis elbow and a year later the same. Most recently, I was treated by Dr Loeb for carpal tunnel which included surgery. I was very impressed with the efficiency of their processes but, not to the point of feeling like just another patient chart. I highly recommend him and his staff and am grateful I sought treatment with his office. Thank you.
