Dr.Dirksmeier is a brilliant orthopedic surgeon. He improved my quality of life in a profound way. He corrected my spinal stenosis and now I can walk upright without leg pain and I don't have tingling and numbness in my lower legs which led to falling down. For the last several years I was becoming more of a recluse. I believed that I would soon live in a wheel chair. When Dr.Dirksmeier told me that he could help me I was overjoyed and today my symptoms are gone! Respectfully,! S.Burgess

Dr. Dirksmeier is a highly regarded & skilled surgeon. His manner is friendly, direct, & matter of fact. He takes as much time as necessary to help you understand your condition and to fully answer any questions. The only drawback is that he often runs way behind on his office appts. It once took well over two hours for a 15-min visit. But considering he was about to cut my back open, I consider that time well spent. He is very personable, and always gives me confidence. Great office staff, too.

Brilliant doctor. His knowledge, skills and compassion are qualities that make Dr Dirksmeier an excellent choice if you are suffering from chronic pain due to the spine. He is honest and trustworthy and very passionate about his work. He will take the time to educate you on your situation as well as his course of action to bring you relief. Believe in him. I am grateful I did.

Very direct, very informative. This doctor knows his field well and did an excellent job on my back surgery. I highly recommend him. He's very direct and blunt which is exactly what I like in a doctor. I don't want a doctor where I have to read between the lines to figure out what he said or draw my own conclusions as to what he meant.
in Dover, NH |
He seems arrogant, and not particularly giving in his dealing with me as a patient. I've been around too long to put up with his behavior. I feel his recommendations are useless. It took 57 minutes to get to someone on the phone.

My wife had a recent back surgery with Dr Dirksmeir and we both found him to be brilliant in his profession and also a true professional at what he does. He is a Dr you can can trust and I would highly recommend him
