I saw Dr Cancado one time. HE seemed nice, but he had cancelled twice on me, and the last time was only 1 week before my appt. This would have been my 2nd appt, my 1st being 2 months before this. In that 2 months I was to get blookwork and a CT Scan before coming back. Went for the blood work 2 weeks after the 1st appt, and after waiting for 30 min, as the lab was busy, I was told they had no info in their computer about me. Not enough room here, but avoid this place!

Dr. Cancado was very professional, however there was an issue with billing. There was a question about Co-Pay. My card says "May charge up to $20 Co-Pay". As there was a question on this matter it was decided to wait until the insurance came through and I would pay the rest. The insurance has come through indicating that there could be a $20 copay. I finally received a statement from him there is also a $20 fee for late payment. I do owe the $20 Co-Pay. I do not feel I owe any late fee.

My PCP left and referred me to this neurologist. I had a prescription plan and he said he wasnt comfortable contuing my previous rx plan. But he'll give me these alternates instead! They're staff is very confusing. I don't recommend him as an after care doc. I have had an anaplastic astrocytoma 18 yrs ago then this dr. found a leasion. and trios radiology got my mri wrong saying i had no contrast, which i clearly did. So my whole experience with trios was bad, unfortunately. He was a referral.

After having been under the care of two previous Neurologists in the area, and found their care in both instances to be mediocre I have been both surprised and pleased to be under Dr. Canado's care and am experiencing definite improvement in my condition. It has been under his care when proper diagnosis and therapy was applied. He is both knowledgeable and personable.

I've seen Dr. Cancado twice for a EMG/Nerve conduction study on my arms. He is a nice man & I enjoyed talking & laughing w/him during the testing. He was gentle during the test which can be uncomfortable. He listened to all my concerns and diagnosed my problems correctly. I have sent several friends & family members to him & everyone likes him & has been happy w/his office & service

Dr Cancado has been excellent and successful in treating my epilepsy. He got me on the right meds instead of operating on my brain like a national acclaimed neurologist wanted to. He has successfully diagnosed others when other Drs said it just was "aging". (they missed the Parkinson's) but he picked it up quickly!
