Dr. Zook is a rare Seattle "native", having grown up in Wallingford and graduated from Garfield High School. She obtained her MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine, followed by an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology, also at UW. Somewhere in there she fell in love with dermatology. Dr. Zook enjoys all aspects of dermatology. Her interests include general medical dermatology for adults and children, skin cancer surgery, and cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Juvederm and laser surgery. She has a particular interest in complex vulvar skin concerns, including lichen sclerosus, lichen planus, vulvar lesions, and vulvodynia. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Washington, where she teaches students as well as dermatology and gynecology residents in her monthly gynecologic dermatology clinic.
