She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the Medical Society of Virginia, and is an executive board member of the Arlington County Medical Society. She volunteers her time at the Arlington Free Clinic and is a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Virginia Hospital Center. She is a long time resident of the Washington, D.C. area and resides in Falls Church.
