Very personable and compassionate at first visit. Sadly, second visit was quite uncomfortable. We weren't communicating at all. I felt totally misunderstood. When I messaged him that I had felt rushed and hoped our next visit could be more respectful, he replied that he might not be the doc I'm looking for. Sad. I had such high hopes.

I have been seeing Dr Utrie for some years now and I must say the care he provides is top notch! I have several autoimmune disorders and he always considers them when examining me and setting up a treatment plan. I work in the medical community and he was highly recommended by others in that community. They were not wrong, he is a very careful and considerate provider.

I have been a very satisfied patient of Dr. Utrie for over 10 years. I have recommended him to family and friends that are in need of a rheumatologist . He always takes the time to listen to my symptoms & concerns. When my husbands work took me out of state for a long period of time I continued to put my trust in Dr. Utrie for treatment and I have never regretted my decision to remain a patient of his.

I had my first visit with Dr. Utrie today and felt very comfortable from the first moment as he listen to all my concerns regarding the recent ongoing gout attacks I have been experiencing. We went over my medical history in great detail with open discussion on all items that may be contributing to my situation. Dr. Utrie gave me a very comprehensive exam with a medical plan of attack that we can implement after he reviews my test results. My visit was 1 1/2 hrs. long and I never felt rushed.

I was referred to Dr. Utrie due to insurance coverage. 1st. appt. I underwent testing-2nd. appt. he stated testing did not show any abnormalities. I then asked "Do you have any suggestions as to what is causing my symptoms". He went into a tirade yelling "you people come in here and want me to give you a diagnosis, and go away unhappy if I don't". I informed my M. D. re:above and he stated he had heard prior negative reports re: Dr. Utrie's temper and would not refer to him again.

Dr. Utrie was my mom's Rheumatoid Doctor for approx. 20 years. She absolutely loved him, he was honest and caring. She has passed as her malignant melanoma hit her vital organs...but if you were to ask her about her doctors, she would give you rave reviews of Dr. Paul Utrie, and Dr. Jennifer Schoening. Mom was a no bull kind of lady so deal it straight...God Bless you Dr. Paul Utrie!! and your awesome Staff also...she loved her appointments with you and your staff. Per mom, "It's ALL good!"

I saw Dr Utrie for several years before I moved to another state. He was referred to me by a friend and I've referred several others to him. I've seen 6 different rheumatologists over 20 years and he was one of my favorites. He always spent enough time with me, answering all my questions, and once when I asked about a study that was in the news, he pulled up the article and read it with me

Arrogant, condescending, insulting, unresponsive to and dismissive of patient concerns. Bad mouths other doctors. He missed my diagnosis and treated me as if he thought I was intellectually challenged. Inexpert in his field, a poor diagnostician, and clinically inept.

I've already recommended Dr Utrie to many people. He's the only Dr that would listen to me when I couldn't breath. I even went to a pulinary specialist, he said there was nothing he could do for me. Dr Utrie is my life saver. He diagnosed me right on the spot with arthritis of the lungs. Started me on some meds that helped and I haven't had any problems since. I love this guy,and recommend him to everyone.

Dr Utrie has got to be the most down to earth , compassionate doctor around. He not only treats my RA but has picked up on medical issues that other doctors have missed. I actually look forward to my infusions...the staff is excellent and you can tell they admire the doctor and enjoy their jobs. My mother was just advised to see a rheumatologist and I am more than willing to drive the 100 miles to have Dr Utrie be her physician.
