Potsdam, NY |
Rare to see a doctor that will take time and listen too you nowadays.

Dr. Tejera is an excellent doctor. These comments come from someone that in general is very critical of doctors. Dr. Tejera always takes the time to listen to my concerns (I am a type II diabetic). This doctor takes the time to listen to my concerns and works with me in conjunction with his blood work observations. I highly recommend him to anyone needing an endocrinologist. We are fortunate to have him working in our area.

I would recommend Dr. Tejera to people. He listens to what you tell him. Explains to you what he recommends and why and takes time with you. I think he is very through.
Extremely knowledgeable. Educates very well. Uses most up to date information. And he explains side effects of medicines thoroughly.

Dr. Tejera may be a specialist, but in my opinion needs to study up on endocrinology more. He said that extreme fatigue is not a symptom of hypothyroidism. However everywhere online will tell you different. He didn't do any extra testing that my regular provider couldn't do. He also doesn't believe in natural thyroid supplements and will not try them even if you have severe side effects from the synthetic thyroid medication. I suggest don't settle for a specialist around here. Make the drive.
