So nice to deal with a real pro who has great qualifications: up-to-date mastery of his specialty and the experience and skill to apply this special knowledge. Even better, from my experience, he listens carefully and thoughtfully, relates well to his patients, and tells you what he is doing and why. He's a real find!! Totally satisfied. Worked in health care many years.

Dr. Switaj performed foot surgery on me, to remove deep hardware from prior surgery several years ago. He is certainly a talented Surgeon but also an extremely personable. He takes the time to listen to questions and fully answers them, never rushing you through the visit. I highly recommend him for any foot/ankle problems one might have.

Turnaround from a first phone call to a face-to-face appointment with Dr. Switaj was about as quick and smooth as any patient can wish. Dr. Switaj is young, charming speaks plainly, explains clearly and formulates follow-up efficiently. I had a follow-up televisit with him a couple of weeks after I’d met with him and that meeting went as well as the first. A charming, personable and competent physician. I’d advise if you have serious ankle problems, see Dr. Switaj. Moreover, the office staff and assistants are very pleasant and get you in front of the doctor nice and quick. In other words: I’m happy.

The service I received was prompt, professional, and efficient. Dr. Switaj reviewed my xrays and discussed his analysis and recommendations. He was thorough, easy to talk with, offered options and alternatives, and, most important of all, I have confidence in him. I will be returning for follow-up visits as needed. I highly recommend him.

While I was pleased with Dr. Switaj and his explanation of things, I was very put off by the fact that his office didn't have any interest in most of my meds that I take on a regular basis. They didn't even want to hear about them! Additionally, they made it sound like they are incapable of receiving scans electronically from other offices. It's 2020, how on Earth are they not equipped to receive digital scans?!

I am from Fredericksburg VA. I have traveled North for all my hand, foot and shoulder issue for ateasr the last 4 years. I have always gone to OrthoVA and that will never change. Every office, personand Dr. I have ever been too is great. People at the front desk areas are very nice, considerate and friendly to speak with. All the Drs I have seen are awesome. You will not find better doctors anywhere else. I have had several surgeries some in their same day surgery centers and one up in theinovs Fairfax hospital. The surgeries have always turned out wonderfully. I saw Dr. Switaj for the very first time yesterday for a ganglion cyst on my foot which he drained for me. As per usual he was very friendly, listens to you and then explains how the problem can be dealt with. Could not have asked for a nicer person. The office staff were also very helpful and courteous. Thanks to all of you!!
