The visit was to do determine the swelling and pain in left middle finger and also pain in thumb joints. It was determined that it is arthritis causing the pain. Dr. Sterns berg prescribed a steroid shot in the joint and to wear a splint for three weeks on the left hand.

I have been to him 5 times in a little over five years. Twice this yea, each time it has been for trigger fingers. (3 different fingers). Each time it was taken care of successfully in his office. Surgery was scheduled onetime. However, upon examination, he felt it would not be indicated.

I had a lot of pillar pain after his surgery on my left hand 2 years ago. I was hesitant about seeing him for my trigger finger issue. He did it very well, though. After just one day of recovery from the cortisone shot, my finger is improving.

Im on #2 of 3 hand/wrist surgeries with Dr Sternenberg. The level of skill and knowledge he provides is amazing!! And his PA Mike Barker is just as knowledgeable and skilled with the treatments he provides. The 2 of them combined makes for an incredibly talented team!! And Jill just makes everything in their office work like a well oiled machine!
