Horrible Doctor. He wrote a bogus and false report about my condition and when I confronted him on it, he bent my finger backward in an apparent attempt to do nothing more than cause pain. Avoid this guy.

Dr. Simic performed a surgery on my thumb. Two months later I was back in his office complaining of pain and swelling. He said my hand looked normal for someone who was two months post surgery and that I should begin physical therapy. Three days later I was in an ER where I was told I had an infection and a culture was taken. Four days later I was admitted to a hospital for an overnight IV antibiotic drip. Six days later I saw a hand surgeon and an infectious disease doctor who recommended immediate surgery to drain the fluid in my hand, stop the infection from spreading and remedying any damage that had been done. The surgeon found osteomyelitis which he debrided. During visits Dr. Simic was often abrupt and usually arrogant.

THE WORST PHONE SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. YOU WILL BE ON HOLD FOR HOURS AND HOURS. AFTER AN HOUR, I CALL BACK AND I'M BACK ON HOLD. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION AND GO TO UCLA WESTWOOD, YOU COULD DRIVE THERE FASTER THAN GETTING SOMEONE TO TALK TO YOU.

Dr. Simic charged me $800 for a cortisone shot and when I refused to pay this amount, he turned me into collections. I now owe $1100 for a cortisone shot that did not even work

Dr. Simic and his entire staff are amazing! Our son, who has autism, broke his arm and wrist last week. We have been very fortunate that our son has never been involved in any kind of accident or broken any bones previously and actually has never had anything more serious than a cold or mild field flu. He is very afraid of needles and was very concerned about the IV. From the moment we arrived, the doctors and nurses could not have been kinder or more patient. They were so incredibly gentle and reassuring. They explained everything that they were going to do in a manner that our son could understand and put him completely at ease. They didn’t talk ‘down’ to him, which unfortunately often happens. They just took their time and made sure he was comfortable, confident and fully prepared. The surgery went beautifully, and so far, he is experienced very little post-op pain. Just 48 hours after the surgery, when asking him about his pain level, he responded it was ½. I asked him if that m

Surgery went great. I was scheduled quickly and had basically no pain after. The follow-up care was thorough and I love that imaging, surgery, and physical therapy are all in the same location. Very convenient.

Dr. Simic, Dr. McDaniels and Dr. Tapp were all very nice.. did a great job with workers comp pushing to get therapy and then surgery scheduled for me. It took a while, but it got approved. I had my surgery two weeks ago and will now be starting therapy. All of the staff were very nice and helpful, especially Sam Lucas at the Simi office where all my appointments were, helped me with questions, paperwork and scheduling, called me back when I left messages. I’d definitely refer this office

Dr. Simic has a very serious, professional demeanor, which is what you want when having surgery. He’s conservative with treatment & he really tries all alternatives before deciding to do surgery. I’ve had 3 surgeries performed by him and all went well and minimal scarring!

I presented with a severely torn rotator cuff. After Dr. Simic repaired it, he explained and monitored my rehabilitation beyond my expectations. By following his advice and adhering to the schedule he outlined, my healing is complete. Besides being an excellent surgeon, he is caring and he listens to his patient's concerns. He makes sure his diagnosis and treatment plan is understood and encourages dialog to ease patient concerns and fears. I would give him a ten-star rating if possible.

I have had a marvelous experience with Dr. Simic providing care for broken wrist and shoulder rotator cuff and tendons, which has taken several months for recovery. He has seen me for each appointment and went beyond being attentive to my recovery. I am 100+% satisfied with the excellence of the staff who completes Dr. Simic's work at SCOI. He gets 5 stars from my experience. Elnora L. Hall
