I was first diagnosed with colon cancer in 2012 at age 44. Dr. Savoca was recommended by my GI; he was absolutely FABULOUS. He made calmed my fears and gave me sound firm advise. He was able to perform the surgery quickly and the care was beyond what could expect. I felt as though he was a friend guiding me through the process. In 2019 when another tumor was found I called him again; he fit me in that day and again, just held my hand through the process. He didn't sugar coat, instead gave me sound advise. Most of my colon was removed at his advise and everything he told me to expect has occurred. my scarring is minimal, as minimal as it could be and prognosis is good moving forward. I can't say enough good about this surgeon, his bedside manner, his office . . I am truly blessed to have found such a great man with amazing surgical skills. Cancer is scary, I am thankful he was my dr through this journey. One thing, I recommend not using Reston Hosp. That was HORRIBLE-use FFX.

Dr Savoca is an amazing surgeon, doctor and most of all a caring person for his patients. I went through 2 other surgeons before choosing him. I chose him because he was real and genuine. He is not like any other doctor. He bonds with his patients on the level of humanity and has a sense of confidence that gave me hope and faith in him and the surgery. I went from one surgeon saying, I would have a bag for the rest of my life to Dr. Savoca who didn’t guarantee me without a bag but his confidence

I am very happy to be Dr. Savoca's patient recently when I was under his care for my surgery. He has stayed at the forefront of medical advancement to explore new methods with higher success rate and the least discomfort for patients, as he probably is the only one in the area to perform a minimally invasive procedure, instead of more painful and prolonged one for my case, that requires high level of skills and precision. And his team is also great! I highly recommend Dr. Savoca!

Arrogant and would not recommend. Went to Dr. Savoca for a 2nd opinion about a surgery. He bad mouthed the other surgeon for no particular reason and then recommended exactly the same operation. It was like he was trying to hard sell me to use him instead of the other surgeon. I wanted a medical opinion, not a sales pitch. It was actually a bit pathetic - is he really that desperate for business?? Went back to the first surgeon and had a great result. He might be good - but too arrogant for me.

Dr is okay. Office staff are incompetent. Twice they canceled on me the day of my appointment. The last time, after waiting an additional two weeks after they canceled my appointment, I showed up at the appointed time and was told the doctor was no longer in the office. “We tried to call but couldn’t leave a message.” So.... everyone else calling me can leave messages but only your office can’t? Um, okay. Avoid this office if possible. It’s not worth the headache.

High! How many stars can there be for one who saves your life. It isn't so much what he did, but the how truly resonated, both beforehand and afterward. Dr Savoca was there in presence, in his time and with great insight and advice. He did great in considering me the patient and my wife with regard to how he interacted, how thoughtful he was, how no nonsense and direct he was with the staff. What I appreciated most, the teaming of the entire office, client care and dedication to the solution

I would very much recommend Dr. Savoca to anyone considering a colonoscopy. His demeanor is caring and professional. Before the colonoscopy procedure I met with him in his office for a consultation and was pleased with his concern and patience in answering all my questions. His in-office staff is very accommodating and answers questions promptly and fully. In the procedure area every member of Dr. Savoca's team performed professionally, courteously, and with respect to any apprehension I had.
