Best doctor ever!!!
From the front desk to the nurses to Shelby P. A. to Dr Salinas everyone is so nice and very professional. Dr Salinas is awesome. I’ve had a very bad experience with a neurosurgeon and Dr. Salinas put me at ease and explained everything. He advised me but didn’t force me to have surgery.

My brother arrived at carrolton medical regional and “Dr.” Salinas was the on call neurologist this day. My handicapped brother had a malfunctioning shunt that had been placed 35 years ago and this “dr.” told the client and his mother that the shunt was miraculously not needed anymore. They discharged him and he walked out of the emergency room with no wheelchair or anything and went home in so much pain. Thank god for smart family members who knew this wasn’t right and took him to a competent facility (UT Southwestern) where he went into emergency surgery and was told he would not have survived the weekend under the guidance of this doctor.

Professional and caring staff
The receptionist, PA, assistants and Dr. Salinas have all been compassionate and understanding of what all I’ve been through. I assumed I would not be able to see anyone for months but was happy to get to meet with Shelby who ordered an MRI and X-rays since it’s been 5 years since I’ve had any. The imaging facility is next to the practice and getting scheduled was easy. A follow up with Dr Salinas was also quickly scheduled. I don’t expect the rest of the steps to be as fast since I have to see doctors outside this practice but thankful for Valerie who is the patient navigator to ensure that my care continues. I also like that you leave the office with a clear written plan for imaging, PT, nerve studies and pain management.

Great Experience!
While Dr Salinas’ bedside manner may not be to your liking he is an amazing spinal fusion Dr! I had a 2 level C5-C7 fusion. I had the worst nerve pain before the surgery and have never had any since!! I’m so glad I chose him!! His office staff was always friendly & helpful too!

He is fantastic doctor in all aspects.
Pre-surgery visit. He and his staff do a very thorough job explaining what is going to happen during surgery and after while recovering. The whole operating team were fantastic and explained their jobs to us. Dr. Salinas has a top of the line team assisting him at his office and in the operating room.

Initial Consultation
I had a very positive experience with my initial consultation. I did not feel rushed with Dr Salinas and the wait time for him to see me while in the exam room was normal from my experience. Staff was great and explained things in detail and I did not feel rushed at anytime during the process.

Amazing Doctor!
Dr. Salinas was Amazing! Real and down to Earth! He made a connection with me instantly, and realized quickly that I was at the end of my rope! I had no problem with the fact that the other doctors I have seen, don’t think my problem is surgical. The other doctors made me feel hopeless, alone, and crazy… That I shouldn’t be hurting so much, and that I just wasn’t being “Tough Enough…” Dr. Salinas confirmed that I have a REAL problem, and set up a non-surgical plan for how we are going to deal with it! Also, he is not just going to send me on my way, and say, “Good luck with that, have a nice life…” He is going to keep up with my case. If things get worse, or I hit a bump in the road, his office staff made it clear that they want to hear from me and see me. If all is going well, he still wants to check in with me in 3 months! He gave me hope and a plan!

Televisit - Excellent Experience
Televisit was quick and easy to set up and use; Dr Salinas joined in a reasonable time after start. As usual with office visits, Dr Salinas listened attentively and gave clear and understandable analysis, feedback, and direction - a real conversation. Staff provided very friendly and helpful pre-call support as well as appointment reminders and relevant background questions to enable an efficient call. If you have a choice, I highly recommend Dr Salinas and his staff.
