Dr. Muscat is friendly, efficient and effective, in my experience. (I've been seeing him for four years.) I had previously been diagnosed but he thought I had been misdiagnosed; he was right, and I haven't had an episode since.

Dr. Muscat is very knowledgeable. He is empathetic and seems to like his job very much. He is careful with his words and tone and makes the appointments both human and humane. He offers the kind of appointment people wanted and most often received about 20 years ago. I recommend him to all the people I know who need a neurologist.

Dr. Muscat was my doctor for 11 years. 3 years ago I had some medical issues and after my complaint he downplayed my symptoms, encouraged his staff to treat me very poorly, he failed to return any phone calls, I guess if you are an easy patient you should be all set with Dr. Muscat, just don't develop a chronic condition that needs his care, he is not there for you. After 11 years of being a great patient, I became very discouraged with him. I'm sure my new neurologist will be much better.
