I have experienced constant pain for two years following an accident. Dr. Leo is a hero! He has provided relief and I am so thankful! I appreciate his desire to actually treat with a well rounded approach using many different treatment options. I would not trust anyone else with spinal injections, he is extremely cautious and listens to you. Dr. Leo's knowledge and skill are unmatched. I admit, it does take time to get to know him, but once you do you realize his heart is with his patients!

Dr Paul Leo is prob the worst doctors Ive ever encountered. He treats patients like it's a privilege to be in his presence. Dr Leo is 1.5 hrs. late, or more, for every apot that Ive had, and these are mid morning appointments, sad. Doctor Paul Leo has a very poor bedside manner and you get treated like dirt.

Dr Leo has been involved in my care for about 17 years. Before I met him, every pain specialist I saw was disinterested in taking care of me unless I consented to a lucrative procedure. However, Dr Leo understood why I refused to have any procedures given my very complicated surgical history w/repeated infectious complications and treated me appropriately w/a multidisciplinary approach including medications and other modalities. Although he may seem gruff, he truly has been compassionate.

I have suffered from chronic migraines for about 16 years now. I have been to all kinds of doctors and to the emergency room more times than I can count. NEVER have I ran into a doctor that has cared less and been completely rude, uncaring, and unprofessional. Dr. Leo's practice just took over my old doctor, Dr Stieg, and these two are like night at day. I would suggest finding a different doctor if you want to be treated like a person with feelings and an opinion.

Within 5 minutes of meeting this man he made it very clear that he regretted becoming a doctor. The guy acts like he is trying to be Dr. House from that television show, but he doesn't strike me as being anything more than marginally competent. He has zero bedside manner and does not appear to have an ounce of compassion. I would recommend this guy if you have some kind of twisted desire to be talked down to by an angry, arrogant jerk who doesn't care about you at all.

Dr. Leo was rude during my rhizotomy a few years ago. He yelled at me during the procedure. his nurses said "We know he can be bad, but we have never seen him act this badly". I was younger and in pain and vulnerable, and I was afraid to speak up. But I am speaking up now! I will never forget how unpleasant he was that day! I found a good doctor at Rose who, performed surgery on my spine,,did a great job, and I have been fine! that doctor said I should never have had a rhizotomy.

Dr. Leo knows his stuff. However, his bedside manner could use some work. He has been a doc for too long and has lost his compassion. When treating chronic pain patients, he should at least pretend that he cares. There is a reason all healthcare providers decided to practice medicine. He should get back into touch with his passion and not treat each patient as another number.

Do not be fooled by the way he tries to smile and be nice. That's a front, not only does this man have a temper, but he also has no bedside manner at all. his poor 5 year old son is going to have to grow up being yelled at all the time. I had my 2nd back surgery, it was outpatient, I spent 4 days in the ICU and 6 more in the hospital. Dr.Paul Leo comes in on day 8 yelling at me asking me what the hell am I still doing here... I'm sorry, but you don't yell at anyone laying in a hospital bed!!

Normally the practice takes care of you. But recently I had knee replacement surgery. And I was in terrible pain. I couldn't get in for an appointment to discuss the medication I was on that needed changed. So I spent 2 weeks of an important time during physical therapy for my knee in great pain. Was very upsetting & disheartening. Thought they would be of more help & concern during an important time for me.

Dr. Leo is an amazing professional. His knowledge of pain medicine and therapies is beyond reproach. I would trust my life with him. He may come off as stern in his practices but he has a heart of gold. He takes time with each of his patients to not only listen but also address and reassure his patients concerns. It is rare that I do not feel better after I leave the office.
