Surprising Changes
Recent visits had proven to not be what I was used to. I had provided a review before my last visit that was not favorable. I had been contacted by the office manager who did resolve the issue with my need for an appointment for an instant COVID test. Dr. Leavitt was not amiable at all and seemed to not want to provide the visit. The office manager had relayed they were notifying patients whom had posted negative reviews they were not willing to serve them any longer. I received a certified letter today notifying the same. My accounts have always been in order. The issues I experienced were explained to be due to a particular provider and the office staff. This is unfortunate and speaks to an inability to understand the patients concerns by using reviews to better the practice. Take caution in posting your review as I have been told by others in the community this is now a policy.

I'd had Dr. Leavitt as my PCP for at least the last decade. I had never actually seen him over the years, but rather I'd see one of his nurse practitioners, all of which were great. My most recent, and last visit, had me seeing him. I can only echo what some of the other reviewers have already said. This is about the least personable man I have ever met. He wasn't unfriendly, or rude, he just seemed like he couldn't care less. It felt like he couldn't be bothered to see me or address my concerns for the visit. He didn't even sit down. He simply stood at the door for a few minutes while I talked. Wouldn't even look me in the eyes. What few words he did speak were mumbled, only offering to refer me to a specialist for something that, had he listened, could have been (and later was) handled by any family doctor. I will not be back to this office, nor would I trust this doctor with my health care needs.

I am a brand new patient of Dr. Leavitt, I set him as my primary provider on my insurance. I was so terribly disappointed on my first visit to his office. I found Dr. Leavitt impersonal, completely unfriendly, noncommunicative, completely uninterested in me personally as his patient, and just not someone anyone would place faith in as their doctor. If you can't communicate with your doctor, what good are they? I really did crash and burn with this doctor. I noted on many of these one star reviews, many people complain that they pay to see a doctor and are seen by a nurse practitioner. This poor man is so lethargic and tattered looking, we really did not know what to say, he just stood there and looked blank.

I've only met him once. But, for whatever reason, this office CANNOT keep a good female doctor around. Every time you go see one, by the next appointment you go to, she will have left. So, that's not great.

I’ve been to the office about 3 times for a physical and a couple small acute medical issues. Each time I saw an NP. I’ve never laid eyes on Dr.Leavitt as he seems over extended. Each time I was told I would get a referral that never happened, even after calling the office back to request the follow through for my referrals. It’s like I paid them for nothing. This last time I called the office to reschedule an appointment the woman was very dismissive, rude, & I asked for a call back on their Covid policy (if a patient of theirs had Covid when they could return back for an appointment after recovered) she couldn’t tell me what their policy was and was very dismissive, repeating,”yes ma’am” over and over like she wasn’t listening to a thing I said. I won’t be returning. They appear to have far too many patients to keep up with they don’t follow through with good care and their office staff attitudes are rude & uncaring!

Avoid at all costs, office manager determines your care and it’s all based off how much billing they can generate thru testing

This office tried to force me to come in for a visit just for an asthma medication refill. It had not been a year since my last visit and it was not necessary DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC THAT ATTACKS YOUR RESPIRATORY SYSTEM. All I had to do was call drsays.com and for $35 spoke with a doctor that called in my prescription within 30 seconds. I offered Dr. Leavitt to pay the copay since they are clearly only concerned with money and not at all the health and safety of their patients or the general public. The office workers could not be more rude and clearly miserable in their lives. Horrible horrible practice. Go anywhere else other than here.

Always a crowded waiting room followed by the most minimal visit by Dr Leavitt. It makes one feel like it’s a volume operation over there. I now have a new Doctor. .

I highly recommend Dr. Leavitt. He's the best doctor I've ever had. I moved an hour away and I still won't change doctors. He and his nurses and staff are wonderful. They take the best care of me and my family. I won't go anywhere else. And they are open Saturdays which is great for us. You can count on them to take care of what you need--prescriptions, referrals, lab results, they never drop the ball. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I wish there were ten stars on here! I highly recommend Dr. Leavitt. I went to three doctors before a friend referred me to Dr. Leavitt. They could not figure out what was wrong with me, but Dr. Leavitt knew right away. I feel better than I have in years and am so happy that he's my doctor. Now I tell all my friends about him.
