Dr.Krawitz was about to start my surgery ,I asked him a question, he told everyone to stop my surgery because by law he's not allowed to answer any question when a patient is under anesthesia, which I don't think was started yet. I was asking a question about my other eye, not the one he was...more

This was unfortunate, but true. This patient received intravenous Versed, which is similar to Valium, but stronger and faster-acting. The drug often calms people without them feeling "drugged." While on the operating room table, following sedation but prior to surgery, the patient asked about the target vision distance for her lens implants, and whether the surgical plan could be changed. Unfortunately, surgery could not proceed. The patient was offered an alternate surgical date, but declined.

i recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Krawitz and everything was handled in an excellent fashion, from the pre-op prep, scheduling and the execution of the procedures. I had lenses implanted in both eyes to correct my vision and i am very happy with the results.
