I found him to be very rude to me from the first 5 min. of our meeting for the first time. He asked a question about the meds. I was taking and then about meds. other Dr.s had had tried me on ... When I started to read off the list of meds. he interrupted me saying he didn't ask about that med. only those dealing with my heart..."I don't have time for all this ..let's just talk about your heart". I tried explaining I didn't have much trust in Dr.s he didn't want to hear that. I'm not his patient

He doesn't care about his patients. He had me on a high dose of metoprolol, for 4 months I was having serious side effects, i called the office constantly asking for them to lower the dose or take me off they said that I needed to stay on it. Finally I took myself off it when my pulse was 35 and I was due for another 100mg. I ended up in the hospital, it took 6 days to fix what he had done, over a year to fully recover. I almost died and he did not care.

Pick another cardiologist, please! He was the rudest, most sarcastic, rushed, & offensive doctor I have EVER encountered. He was so disrespectful, he mocked my husband for just having a vein procedure done , that was ordered by his heart surgeon. He said he was running behind schedule & had absolutely no time for questions. Ask the nurse. His staff promised results from an x ray the next day. After calling every day, I got a simple answer 4 days later. Not acceptable. Horrible doc!

Dr. Kovac has been a God send for all the years I have been going to him. Recently, he truly saved my life with diaganosing a potential problem with my Coumadin levels post surgery. I would not be here to say thanks if it weren’t for him.
