I went in with concerns and he was pushing the complete opposite of what i was there for. He was ignoring my concerns and I went into full blown crying. He quickly rushed through the appointment and even swore at me. Do not reccomend.

PTSD sufferers stay away! Today the most disturbing, belittling and demeaning appointment made me leave feeling that Dr feels I should disappear. I had a panic attack in the overly loud and unprofessional waiting room. I was taken after over an hour after my appointment time while in a full panic terror watching every white person scheduled through 1:30 taken before me and I was early for a 12:45 Appointment. The nurse was wonderful, calmed me down with a 101 degree temperature that they did not take, a wbc count of 17.7 and pain superseding my prescriptions for a collapsed spine. I was so jacked up from the waiting room that my ears were filled with fluid, it made my pain increase and my blood pressure rise. The doctor was sleazy at best. He did not do an exam per schedule and I was relieved he did not see me naked. He told me that crystalline hunk leaking from my breast with pain is normal for a woman who never had children. And much more.

I have never been treated so poorly by a healthcare provider. I strongly believe that Dr. Kerns went into OB/GYN so that he could belittle women. Highly do not recommend.

If I could give negative starts I would. He couldn't answer any of my questions, incorrectly placed my IUD, put me through unnecessary painful procedures, and charged me for services he did not perform. Overall, I thought he was rude and incompetent.

If you want someone to make you feel like you are getting a hug full of rainbows and butterflies, this is not your guy. If you want someone who is highly competent who will ensure that you are fully informed, Dr. Kerns IS your guy. All aspects of my surgery were completed with exceptional skill and every appointment with him is efficient. That is the kind of medical professional from whom I wish to receive care. I highly recommend Dr. Kerns for routine and emergency care.

I was hesitant to go to a male OBGYN. However, I had great experience with Dr Kern. He was easy to talk to, displayed great active listening skills and was very honest. I would recommend him to anyone;

I do not recommend Dr. Kerns to anyone. I had the worst experience, he was rude, arrogant and would not listen to my concerns or answer my questions. He also refused to run lab work on me that I requested to check my hormone levels. Please take my advise and find a OBGYN that is caring, knowledgeable, and willing to work with you to get to the bottom of your concerns.

We met with Dr Kerns because our doc was called into emergency surgery. We have our birth plan in place and my wife and baby are both healthy and doing well. When he first walked into the room he expressed concern that it was our due date and immediately started talking induction. Everything he said sounded negative, and he was very pushy toward getting something scheduled right away. He said very little positive, and was very fear based in his approach. Don't trust this doc, do your research.

I moved to Wausau in the middle of Pregnancy & needed a provider accepting new patients & my insurance. I was Recommended Dr. Kern's he was great listened to all my questions. I Google a lot and research questions, and he answered them all and put my mind at ease. I had two C-Sections prior to seeing Dr. Kern's and didn't want to attempt a VBAC he performed C-Sections for my now 18-month-old I was very happy I got pregnant again and requested him again as my provider for my now 6 month old.

After my son was born, Dr. Kerns immediately began trying to remove the placenta (the appropriate time to wait is at least 15-30 minutes to avoid a suction like effect). After two hours, a trip to the OR to attempt to manually remove the placenta, which included him placing his foot on my bed and pulling as hard as he could, he dislodged the placenta and collapsed my uterus. Thank God there was another OB doc there!

He took great care of me back in 2009. I needed a procedure done a few months after having my son. He was very professional, caring and had compassion. He treated me like a normal person, he didn't try to be little me using medical terminology that most people do not understand.
