In addition to directing NYP/Columbia's pediatric heart transplantation and mechanical assist device services, Dr. Chai also directs congenital heart surgery services at the Weill Cornell campus. He performs aortic valve surgery, including valve-sparing root replacements, in both pediatric and adult patients; and continues to care for his patients as they grow into adulthood as part of the hospital's adult congenital heart disease service."

Dr. Chai preformed surgery on our baby girl this past March with successful out comes. He saved our babies life we are forever greatful to him and the entire staff at NY Presbyterian!
