Predetory Billing
Predetory Billing methods after a follow up call to ask how I was doing does not qualify for a billable Tele Visit especially when the doctor initiates the call and the office does not clarify that any cost is associated with this follow up call. Nor was any treatment or further testing recommended. It was the last day my Insurance was actactive.

Rushed, disinterested
I've been having unknown health issues and I've been looking for a primary care doctor. My first impression of Dr. Berger wasn't great. He was 20 minutes late to the visit, for which the front desk apologized. During the visit I had a list of symptoms which I was hoping to discuss, and maybe have a few simple tests done while I was there. I found Dr. Berger dismissive and patronizing. He seemed to be more interested in cracking jokes with his medical student than taking me seriously. I was accused of taking too much vitamin D (2000-5000ui daily, cycled off every few months), he suggested my symptoms were psychosomatic, etc etc. To top it off, visit lasted 15 minutes after which I was shooed out the door because I had too many symptoms to discuss I guess, and Dr. Berger felt the need to use my time to get back on schedule. It's unfortunate to find yet another doctor who seem completely disinterested in being a doctor.

Dr Berger is a true man of medicine. What I mean is that he wants to find the root cause and get to the bottom of what is causing the issue. His first instinct isn’t to just blindly prescribe heavy meds or to cut you open. He tries a more holistic and lifestyle change to see how it can improve the issue. He takes his time listening to your issues and follows up with relevant questions to dig deeper and have a better understanding. His approach and manner lean towards that of a concerned parent and makes you feel heard and secure in his care.

Dr. Berger lacks empathy, in unprofessional, and in my opinion, the worst physician I have ever seen. Moreover, he speaks in a very condescending way, and does not seek to understand before considering treatment options. I would definitely not recommend him.

Dr. Berger is an excellent physician. He listens to patients, hears them out, and explores the options that might be most appropriate. If it may be treated with a change of diet instead of a medication, he will suggest that first. If it needs medication, he will go straight to that. He's also willing to acknowledge when he may need more information and never assumes he "knows it all".

Dr Berger is a wonderful doctor, who takes care and time to treat his patients holistically. I've seen him many times, from a tetanus shot to occasional bouts of insomnia. In every instance, he is constantly checking not only my physical vitals but checking on my psychological well-being as well. He's a caring and comprehensive professional...I've been surprised before when he's personally called me to see how I'm doing. Great staff, clean and comfortable office...can't recommend him enough.
