I had surgery with Dr. Asdourian two years ago for a severe progressive herniated spinal disc; within a month I was back at work and ever since I have been able to work almost up to 90% of my previous capacity in physical tasks. I continue to walk, exercise, maintain good condition and do yoga, and I credit a very successful surgery for enabling me to recover from the injury, I will always be grateful for his treatment and excellence in every aspect.
in Parkton, MD |
Showed no diligence in my procedure. Also, I'm not sure if he didn't just oversee a student doing the surgery. As well as, very difficult to communicate with; once he get's something in mind, it doesn't matter what else concerns you and has to be taken care of !!

Dr. Asdourian is a true professional. His offices are well oiled machines. He came highly recommended by a friend who had two surgeries by him. The Dr. treated me and my wife with such care and consideration you would think we were personal friends. When he saw how much pain I was in from my lumbar stenosis he contacted my insurance company to make sure I got surgery ASAP. His staff is so thoughtful and kept in touch to make sure everything went well. I could not have had a better experience.
in Ellicott City, MD |
Dr Asdourian performed cervical disc replacement (arthroplasty) on my C6/C7 segment mid November 2016. He was very thorough in explaining everything to me ahead of time and answered all of my questions. Dr Asdourian provided me with an option that I didn't think I would have with the disc replacement. Surgery was completely successful - all pain was relieved and I have my life back for me and my family. I could not be happier with the outcome. Highly recommend Dr Asdourian.
in Bel Air, MD |
Dr. Asdourian has performed two spinal surgeries on me. In 2006 he conducted a microdiscectomy of my lower back. In 2016 he performed ACDFs on two of my neck discs. Prior to both surgeries, I was in extreme pain, and in both cases, the pain was gone immediately after surgery. I continue to be pain-free. I attribute these successes to the superb surgical skills of Dr. Asdourian. I was looking for a doctor to give me my life back, and Dr. Asdourian did that, not once, but twice.
in Middletown, DE |
Dr. Asdourian performed a L5/S1 fusion with fixation devices that completely relieved me of chronic sciatica. 12 weeks post-op and I am pain free and the entire experience was far better than I had ever hoped for. I followed all my post-op instructions and the recovery was completely uneventful.

He is a miracle

I had lumbar disectomy a year ago and after surgery I felt like a new person Dr Asdourian and his staff are wonderful, and if I have to ever do it again it will be with no one other than Dr Asdourian!!!!
in Frederick, MD |
He operated my wife for spinal stenosis. She was in horrific pain for 4 year. Operation went smooth, she recovered in 3-4 months. She is doing great after this surgery.
in Preston, MD |
I had a terrible car accident a year and a half ago, and after a lot of research I found Dr. Paul Asdourian. He is outstanding. I can't say enough about how he was as a surgeon (I ended up needing a lumbar fusion with laminectomy, and an intercage disc placed.) He is also excellent and attentive when you are seeing him for appointments. Highly recommend.
