Care Philosophy

When I first meet a patient, the most important step is understanding their own care philosophy. No two patients are the same even when their concerns are the same. The best approach, in my opinion, is individualized care while using evidence based medicine with a low risk to high benefit ratio. A conservative approach is typically recommended when possible. Advanced treatments are reserved for those who are not getting better with nature running its course.Read more

I was a patient of Dr Soto's in his previous office and absolutely adored him. He treats the whole person instead of suffering from tunnel vision like so many other MDs these days. He always made you feel heard without any preconceived notion of who you might be by your diagnosis. I really miss the osteopathic manipulations/treatments and trigger point injections, but when he changed practices I had to go elsewhere. Wish he would go back into pain mngmt again.
The feeling is mutual Carol. I strive to provide the same level of compassion and care even though it is in a different capacity. Thanks for taking the time to reply, and I hope all is well. Dr. Soto

After having been treated by 2 neurologists and pain clinic I was referred to Dr. Soto for Botox. I've tried every pill under the rainbow to treat my migraines- either didn't work or gave me bad side effects. Dr. Soto was the only one who cared that I don't want to be on tons of pills. He made natural recommendations and we proceeded with Botox. He is very knowledgeable and related to comments I made. Still early in my Botox regiment but so far I couldn't be happier with the treatment.
I am glad you had a great experience, and thank you for the kind words. Botox is a wonderful medication for migraines when most other treatments have failed. I am glad that it has worked for you as it has for many others. Dr. Soto

At Spokane Spine Center, we are good at evaluating injuries and providing the tools necessary in your recovery. My training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has given me knowledge and tools that span the fields of anesthesia pain, orthopedics, sports medicine, surgery, interventional radiology and neurology.

Long term serious and permanent complications from the procedures that I do are rare. Image guidance with an xray machine is used for spinal procedures to ensure the utmost safety for you and your loved ones. In my training, I completed hundreds of supervised procedures. Since graduating in 2008, I have performed hundreds if not thousands of procedures safely.
