Dr. Soto's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Soto "As a Physiatrist I specialize in restoring optimal function to people with injuries to the muscles, bones, tissues and nervous system. My training allows me to understand the prognosis, recovery process and functional impact of an illness. I offer primarily a nonsurgical, conservative approach when possible."

Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Soto "When I first meet a patient, the most important step is understanding their own care philosophy. No two patients are the same even when their concerns are the same. The best approach, in my opinion, is individualized care while using evidence based medicine with a low risk to high benefit ratio. A conservative approach is typically recommended when possible. Advanced treatments are reserved for those who are not getting better with nature running its course."

I was a patient of Dr Soto's in his previous office and absolutely adored him. He treats the whole person instead of suffering from tunnel vision like so many other MDs these days. He always made you feel heard without any preconceived notion of who you might be by your diagnosis. I really miss the...more

The feeling is mutual Carol. I strive to provide the same level of compassion and care even though it is in a different capacity. Thanks for taking the time to reply, and I hope all is well. Dr. Soto

After having been treated by 2 neurologists and pain clinic I was referred to Dr. Soto for Botox. I've tried every pill under the rainbow to treat my migraines- either didn't work or gave me bad side effects. Dr. Soto was the only one who cared that I don't want to be on tons of pills. He made...more

I am glad you had a great experience, and thank you for the kind words. Botox is a wonderful medication for migraines when most other treatments have failed. I am glad that it has worked for you as it has for many others. Dr. Soto
