Cataract surgery. Based on an evaluation of my health status, (pituitary tumor impacting optic nerve), Dr. Risch advised the selection of Vivity lens to correct my astigmatism and provide my best vision. My results are incredible. I can see better than when I was in my 30’s. I have clarity and sharp focus at far and mid-distance. I can read my IPad and IPhone without glasses. Yes, they were expensive, but with outstanding results. Dr. Risch listens, answers all your questions, and is obviously skilled. His staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I was truly skeptical going into the cataract surgery process about selecting multifocal lenses due to concerns about halos. Fortunately Dr. Risch is a patient educator as well as an exceptional surgeon. After explaining the advantages of the Alcon Multifocal intraocular lens I considered them and agreed. I left my final post-op appointment this afternoon with 20/20 vision. Not since I was 8 years old have I been able to see this well. I am donating all of my bifocals to charity tomorrow morning. Thank you Dr. Risch!!

My cataracts were far along but I was concerned about having the surgery during the Pandemic. Dr. Risch and his staff put me completely at ease and followed strict guidelines to prevent the virus. Dr. Risch has a wonderful manner with patients and also provided a full explanation of how the surgery would work. Also, NWA Surgery Center was the best...great staff and competent. I would send any of my family & friends to Dr. Risch... I can see again after years of poor vision and my thanks to him!

I have been to The Eye Center for new glasses and recently PRK refractive surgery. Both times my experience was amazing. Staff is incredibly friendly and thorough. They left no stone unturned and question unanswered in the days leading up to my surgery. Dr. Risch was awesome to work with and kept me at ease during the entire surgery. I am so pleased with the results! No more contacts for me! Would highly recommend working with Dr. Risch and his staff.

Dr Risch did my cataract surgeries. I felt very safe and comfortable with all the precautions they had in place. Dr Risch never made me feel like he was rushed at any of my appointments. He always asked if I had any more questions. He was very thorough in his explanations. The surgery on both eyes went very well and he was so helpful each time to come in before the surgery and be reassuring about what was going to take place. I am extremely happy with my excellent results. He also made a personal phone call a few weeks after the surgeries to be sure everything was going well. He is an excellent eye doctor and I highly recommend him.

The operation of both the office and the surgical procedures were smooth, well-planned and well-executed, and made the whole procedure of having surgery stress-free, or close to it. Dr. Risch is one of the worst doctors I have ever seen in my life. He says he will provide you with a certain type of care and then he will go back on his word! If you care about the outcome of your vision after surgery then ask for a different doctor! He has ruin my vision and then told me to find a different doctor! His staff is very kind and willing to help it is just sad the the doctor is not the same way!

I have just finished my second cataract surgery with Dr Risch and find him to be a Dr of character and integrity, patient and kind in his approach to patient care. He is highly knowledgeable in his field of ophthalmology and has the ability to make one feel comfortable. He is excellent at what he does because he loves what he does. If you need and ophthalmologist, I would highly recommend that you consider Dr Risch. Lana M Bentonville AR.

My experience with Dr Risch was excellent. He is young but do not hold that against him, he is up on the latest medical techniques, and is very skilled at his work.. His manner is warm, cheerful, reassuring, and above all professional. I felt that he was very honest with me and was not trying to sell something that I wouldn't benefit from.
