Understaffed
I feel he's a compentent doctor, and listens to your concerns/questions. They appear to be very understaffed. It takes multiple attempts to make an appointment, or get a prescription refilled. I've run out of prescriptions, because they don't answer the phone or return your calls. I three years, they've returned my calls once.

Absolutely terrible service from the head nurse Tracey Jones. I have been trying for over 2 weeks to speak with my doctor or to the nurse about my visit and documentation that was given to me, I've even physically gone to the office only to be turned away and given a phone number to call. Dr. Mathias is a wonderful doctor but its certain people in the office that discredit the practice and make going to my appointments a hassle.

Dr. Mathias has become like a family doctor to us. He took care of my dad, my husband and my me for over 30+ year's. And to this day every time my mom walks into that office he can recall when they first met, the date and the year. He is a very compassionate man and an excellent doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Mathias to family and friends.

Dr. Mathias has been my cardiologist for over 19 years. He is the best. Gives you quality time, listens to your concerns, and is up to date on all medical views. He is a concerned physician and one I deeply respect. I trust him implicitly. Under his hospice I have had, triple bypass surgery, Heart ablation, Cardio-version , stents, plus a number of other procedures. My wife has been a patient of his for over 20 tears.

At the age of 44, my husband was told by a well respected cardiologist in Orlando, that he would not live anymore than 2 - 3 years at the most...Shortly afterwards, we found Dr. Patrick Mathais. Dr. Mathais was a Godsend, and because of his concern and care, my husband lived to the age of 71...

Horrible horrible staff and doctor service, if you are trying to become pregnant or are do not use this office for hypertension. They only will prescribe you 2 types of meds one kills your liver. There best bet is to tell you to have your OBGYN prescribe you meds for your condition. Hey Cardiovascular Associates last time I checked you deal with hearts and the OBGYN deals with babies so I'm pretty sure you arnt doing your job. Worse off just letting one of your patients just suffer with no real

I find Dr. Mathias very good, but staff don't return calls. I have left several messages to get a pre-authorization for the medicine prescribed to me so my insurance would cover it, but get no response to my messages. Been trying for 2 weeks. This is ridiculous.
