Dr. Patrick Gainey is a talented, intelligent, compassionate doctor who really listens to his patients. The doctor works endlessly in his efforts to treat and put an end to the excruciating migraines from which I have suffered for more than 40 years. Dr. Gainey stays current with medical treatments available, and does not hesitate to be a pioneer in his field of neurology. Finally, it is worth mentioning that Dr. Gainey is extremely professional at all times, yet he is able to also respond to his patients with warmth and sympathy. I was devastated when Dr. Gainey moved his practice out of my area because he was the best neurologist I have ever had the opportunity to know and work with. My loss is other patients' gain.

He abandoned his patients in Modesto, CA Dec '18. No notice. Letter came in the mail. I guess history really dies repeat itself. Patient beware!

After 15 years of being his patient, up & left for California in the middle of the night. Unethical.

Pretty pissed off! He just abandoned his practice with no call/card notice at all. I have been on Botox for migraine for five years – my Botox is sitting there paid for, and I can't find someone to administer it. I am furious. Judging from the way that Office has always been run, I have a little to no chance of ever getting my records.

My experience would have been great except he has left his practice & abandoned his patients. He didn't give any referrals for other doctors, nothing. I have one month of medication left for a chronic illness & have to wait until October 3rd to see a new Dr. This all seems very strange to me. How can he pick up & leave without at least making sure his patients have the proper meds they need to hold them over until they find new healthcare? called twice to have my records sent & so far nothing

Would have given him 3 if he didn't just walk away from his practice abandoning all his patients, he was great a 5 but his office staff just couldn't do anything couldn't get pre authorizations right, billing was awful... And they wouldn't call me back when I was trying to get the dr paid. Anyway... Pure abandonment here and I've learned this isn't the first time.
