Dr. Patrick Cole is Board-Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Originally from Bedford, Texas, after completing his Medical Doctorate with Distinction in Research at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Dr. Cole began his General Surgery training at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital. During his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Dr. Cole spent two years performing complex pediatric craniofacial reconstruction and cleft lip/palate repair at Texas Children's Hospital, one of the country's largest craniofacial programs. In 9 years of surgical training at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Cole simultaneously trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the world's leading institutions for treating breast cancer and performing breast reconstruction. Dr. Cole was also the Chief House Officer of Plastic Surgery at The Methodist Hospital, one of the regional leaders in cosmetic and microsurgery, as well as at Ben Taub General Hospital, one of the country's busiest trauma institutions. In addition to plastic and reconstructive surgical training, Dr. Cole then completed Baylor College of Medicine's Orthopedic Hand Surgery Fellowship, where he further refined his skills at endoscopic surgery, microsurgery and complex upper extremity reconstruction. Dr. Cole is now a published author of over 200 scientific articles, 25 book chapters and 15 plastic surgery training videos.
