Treating children is very different from treating adults. A child's body is constantly changing, and pediatricians must concern themselves with caring for the whole child. A child's health today can have a profound impact on their future development. The doctors and staff at UPA are engaged in promoting not only the physical well-being of children, but their mental and social health as well. At the same time, we keep track of growth, family, school, friends and anything else that might affect a child's overall health.
