Stay away! Not only did dr not help with my problem, her waiting room time exceeded 2 hours! To top it off, claim were not submitted to my insurance that she is a contracted in network provider in. 3 years later her office is sending me bills and threatening collection.

Stay away! Not only was there a 2 hr wait in the waiting room (the staff told you to leave and they would call you when Dr could see you), Dr was not helpful at all in diagnosing or treating my condition. Then 3.5 years after my visit, I get a bill from her, only to find out from my insurance provider that her office did not file any claims for my visits.

I did not like her at all. She was rough, extremely rude, condescending, and acted like I was a joke. I think maybe this is because I do not fit in her vision of an RA patient. I say this because she wasn't AS bad when I had to take my grandpa to her. I talked to a family/friend (much more of a typical RA patient) who went to her as well, and she said that she sobbed in her car for a long time after her appointment and had to call someone to come get her. I could go on but I've made my case.

Dr. Chimata is a kind, considerate doctor. She has the best bedside manner I have ever experienced in my whole life. I'm honestly so happy after gaining her as a my doctor. After dealing with pain for everyday for 3 years, I am officially pain free and its all thanks to Dr.Chimata and her kind staff. The only complain I would possibly have is the wait time but its all worth it.
in Houston, TX |
I absolutely loved the experience with Dr. Chimata. As a new patient I was aware of the wait time since I was notified when I made my appointment but I understood why this was necessary, she spent an equally amount of time with me in the room listening to all my concerns and questions. This was the 1st time I did not feel rushed out of the office and the staff was courteous. I was provided education on my diagnosis and the medications that I was being prescribed. I felt so relieved and educated.
in Houston, TX |
Dr. Chimata is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She listens to everything I have to say and answers every and all my questions. The only concern was the wait time on my first visit, however her staff had informed me beforehand about the wait. The staff was easy to work with and cordial. I would recommend her, and not see any other rheumatologist who doesn't give me my time. Also have to say the wait is worth the care I'm receiving from the doctor.
City in, TX |
She is smart but the wait times are soon long!
in Katy Texas |
Dr Chimata is a compassionate person. Listens to what your saying most of the time. Sometimes I feel like I'm being dismissed or not taken seriously. Maybe she's to busy. But the fact remains I like Dr Chimata and I trust her.
