I've been seeing Dr Z since he opened his practice. I know it's been over 10 yrs. He is the same empathetic, caring & compassionate Dr now as he was then. His office has grown but you still get personalized care. With progressive degenerative arthritis, issues & new pain are always popping up. Dr. Z can tell me what's going on before he even does the physical exam. He listens & asks alot of questions. He is at all afraid to refer to out when you need to be. He provides comfort for even the most complex medical problems. He treats you & your pain as aggressively as it needs to be. Like any good pain mgmt physician, he requires diagnostic testing results of your condition & your subjective experiences before providing treatment. In other words, he's not going to just give you opioids because you walk in off the street & say you hurt. You can expect to be kept comfortable w/o being over medicated. Expect to be drug tested, that's the law. It protects you both.

ZL Dallas Spine is a rip off! I went to Dr. Michels who was wonderful for some injections in my neck. He used ZL Dallas Spine for the anesthesia services. I would assume since Dr. Michels accepts my insurance and that i was provided a quote for the injections, that it would cover the anesthesia since it is part of his office. However, they did not accept my insurance (out-of-network). My insurance paid the 60% out of network fee and now they are coming after me for over $1100 for each procedure! This is outrageous. First of all, the doctor's office should have told me about this prior to the procedure and second of all, it was a 10 minute procedure and the cost for the anesthesia is quite high. So buyer be warned! This is a complete scam!

I suffered from a tear in my L5-S1 which caused severe discogenic pain activated by prolonged sitting. For 10 years I have tried stretching, spinal decompression, working out, acupuncture, ESI, medical massage, and medications. Nothing provided substantial relief. Dr. Zeballos used a non-invasive technique called disc biacuplasty. I am now 70 percent pain free. It is a life changing event for me. If you’re considering back surgery, please first meet Dr. Z and discuss non-invasive options.

I was referred to Dr zeballos by my Internist partly because his staff was ‘responsive’. Never got in to see the Dictor because no one ever returned one of my 3 calls to them, the last time pleading in my VM for a call back. Guess they have all the patients they want.

I love Dr Z. I have been seeing him for 10+ years and would absolutely recommend him to treat any sort of pain you live with. He understands each persons threshold and works with you to manage you pain while still having quality of life. For those of us who live with pain everyday (for the rest of our lives for whatever reason) Dr Z is definitely the partner to have!

My main intention was to get a pain patch from Dr Z to control my pain from a terrible accident. At first they said if would take up to 72 hours for preauthorization. Then I called 4 days later to be told it was in process. Getting frustrated as my pain was dramatically increasing, I decided to call BCBS and found out that Dr. Z's staff did not give BCBS what they had requested, but rather gave them partial information. 3 weeks later and they still didn't send what was requested - bu bye!!!

He is a very kind and listens to what's is going on then recommends a solution. When the the first steroid injection didn't totally take but provided some short amount of comfort he suggested the next step for a longer and more permanent relief.
