This review must be read in light of the COVID-19 situation. I was scheduled with a different surgeon to consult about shoulder numbness and pain, and I was given Dr. Vasquez instead, perhaps due to scheduling problems in the new Glen Ridge office. While he was not unpleasant, Dr. Vasquez also seemed to be distant and neither that interested nor, frankly, that experienced in shoulder disorders that do not present themselves that easily. His answer to me was a cortisone injection and medrol pack, and we left it that I would return to see my originally-scheduled surgeon in six weeks to discuss any improvement (none to date about two weeks later) and next steps. I am sure that other patients may have had a different experience, but I have met similar orthopedic surgeons to Dr. Vasquez, and I am simply not that impressed with his care. I hope my followup visit is more fruitful!

I have seen this Doctor for two issues - my knees and my shoulder. For both conditions he has been outstanding! He clearly knows his stuff and communicates very clearly. He is empathetic and listens. I have seen other doctors for these problems this office and doctor provided much better service. The whole office is quick and works well together. I felt like a car in a pit crew, they moved me so efficiently through x-ray, payment, and bracing. Outstanding care.
