He's horrible. Saw him for several months in 2017. Kept his door open when it was hot, patients in his waiting room could hear session. He continued to press I take a drug even though it was causing me increasing side effects (migraines). I switched doctors and was given a genetic test (a simple saliva swab). Results showed my liver processes certain drugs abnormally. And guess what-- that drug he kept pushing me to take was one of the worst offenders!

Doesn't listen. Asks the same question four or five times. I'm like, were you even listening. Very unhelpful and could be very awkward at times. He is quick to call you back to reschedule though if you ever cancel. Got to make those benjamins.

Dr. Pakier is a good listener, which puts him miles ahead of most doctors. He has done an excellent job of managing my depression and anxiety. Best of all, he looks and sounds like Dr. Kroger from "Monk." I recommend him without reservation.

I first met Dr. Pakier in 2009. I was very ill but at the time I was unsure what my diagnosis was. My first impressions were that I was going to receive a level of psychiatric care unlike anything I had before. He is thorough, and patient, and actually listens to me. I am bipolar but I was taking almost all of the wrong meds at bad doses. He unwound the treatment and replaced my meds until we found the right fit. We work well together as a team. I credit him for saving my life.
