I believe that taking care of my patients is the greatest privilege and responsibility that can be bestowed in our society. I strive to treat every patient as I would want a member of my family to be treated under the circumstances. I communicate honestly and directly to the patient, not by sugar-coating. I hold the patient-physician partnership as the key to one day eliminating all human suffering related to cancer and blood diseases, and aim to do so one patient at a time.
