This content was provided by Dr. Melen "For the past 26 years, my Neurology practice has focused on Movement Disorders. The conditions I treat include Parkinson disease, PSP, MSA., Tremor, Dystonia, Tourette's syndrome Blepharospasm, Hemifacial spasm and other rare movement disorders. I am an active member of Movement Disorder Society. I annually attend the movement disorder conference of the American Academy of Neurology and closely follow the current and relevant literature. I have expertise in treating patients with Botulinum toxin Injections. This intervention works for the conditions I treat which are: Blepharospasm, Hemifacial spasm ,Cervical and limb dystonia , spasticity and migraines. I took advanced training for this procedure and now teach it to our residents and fellows. These procedures are very helpful to patients who have experienced satisfactory results."

I went to see Dr. Melen with a family member. Dr. Melen was quarrelsome, he interrupts constantly, he does not listen well, he appeared to be confused by basic arithmetic involving dates and did not seem to believe that there were any treatment options for vision problems resulting from concussion....more
