I had total hip replacement surgery done by Dr. Barzideh just 11 days ago. I feel incredibly fortunate that I was referred to him! From the very first visit to evaluate my situation, Dr. Barzideh’s confidence, knowledge and thoroughness in explaining my options and the procedure he was proposing put me at ease. Throughout the process, he has been compassionate, caring, and very generous with his time, listening carefully and responding fully to my many questions. His skill as a surgeon is evident in my own post-surgical experience. Except for the day immediately following surgery, I have had very little pain and that has been effectively treated with only over-the-counter acetaminophen. I am amazed by and very thankful for how well my recovery is proceeding. I will be needing a knee replacement in the near future and knowing that Dr. Barzideh will be there for me allows me to approach that with calmness and confidence.

I had been suffering severe hip pain for several months and consulted with several orthopedic surgeons re. surgery. You can skip that step and go directly to Dr. Barzideh. It was a pleasure dealing with the good doctor. He is personable and patient in answering my questions in easy to understand language. I had a total right hip replacement using the anterior method. I was up, walking, etc. shortly after getting out of recovery. Pain level was greatly reduced and improving daily. My follow up visit went smoothly with minimal waiting and staff that was pleasant to deal with. Dr Barzideh reviewed my pre and post op X-rays with me explaining the work that he did. If I ever need hip or knee replacement surgery in the future Dr. Barzideh will be my chosen doctor.

The surgery and recovery time were much easier than I anticipated. It is a partnership between you and Dr. Barzideh. He provided an excellent result, but as the patient, you have to assist in your recovery by exercising before and after the surgery and following their directions.

Almost all the reviews here are about joint replacement surgery. However, I was not impressed with this doctors diagnostic skills. He diagnosed me with a torn meniscus, which the MRI showed I have, but he failed to realize that the pain was on the complete opposite side of my knee- outside corner, while torn meniscus is in the back on the knee. Went to another well regarded orthopedic who actually looked at the films and correctly diagnosed my arthritis and treated me with gel shots.

I thought his pre -op program was great. I recommend that everyone follow the pre -op excercise program prior to their operation. You will find it easier to hand the post - op program. His team is fantastic and treat you like a very special person. I aggree with him toataly on the post - op excercise program that you do at home, not to rush the healing process.

Dr. Barzideh did a total hip replacement on me (Anterior approach w/ robotics). Day after surgery walked entire hospital floor. Gate is perfect. A week later walked from my condo to clubhouse and back (8 blocks round trip). Dr. Barzideh answered all my questions. He made me feel confident. This was my 2nd hip replacement. Had 1st one 7 years ago by a different excellent surgeon. Didn't use him again because he did not do anterior approach. I highly recommend Dr. Barzideh anterior appro

It took us two weeks to get in touch with the “busy” coordinator. I guess she’s busy performing a surgery or two for the doctor. Finally, got in touch with the coordinator to find out the doctor doesn’t see patients with spine issues or anything related.

Dr. Barzideh did total knee replacement on me in November 2017 and the other knee in January 2018. I'm 54 years old and he gave me my life back. I no longer walk with a limp or use a cane. He was such a kind and caring doctor. His PA, Kim, is amazing. Together they make a great team! I'm so grateful to them. I highly recommend Dr Barzideh and his team.

I had many concerns about having a total left knee replacement at almost 80 years of age having been told by friends and others I would be in agony for months after the procedure. Well maybe they should have engaged Dr Barzideh and his outstanding support team to do the job. With the exception of the second night at the hospital, my strongest pain medicine was Tylenol! At less than three months post-op, my recovery is phenomenal. Range of motion improving daily. Right knee in November! Dr. B

Dr. Barzideh recently performed a total knee replacement of my right knee on Feb 21, 2018. I’m 57 years old and have Antiphospholipid syndrome which made me a high risk patient. My surgery went well. Dr. Barzideh is an excellent surgeon & highly respected. His staff is terrific, caring and very knowledgeable.
