So happy I did it!!
After seeing so many specialists in NYC and not feeling comfortable with any of them I made the phone call to Dr Syed's office and it was one of my best decisions ever. Not only did I get a human on the phone immediately, I was able to schedule an appointment in a decent time frame instead of having to wait four months. The day of my appointment Dr. Syed was so amazing with answering questions and really explaining the pros and cons of having a spinal fusion done, which is what I needed. He didn't pressure me and made me feel so comfortable and there was something about him that was so calming. From my first appointment to post surgery he was easily accessible, his office staff is amazing and on time, his bedside manners were beyond what was to be expected. I can't recommend him enough. I read each of his reviews prior to surgery and wanted to assure those that are looking I am a whole new person thanks to him, and can finally start living life normally again.

Dr. Syed and Dr. Gologorsky operated on me June 29, 2020. Due to a traumatic fall many years ago, I had deteriorating back issues. I made plans to retire and deal with my spinal issues in the summer of 2020. However, my back gave out completely in March. I could not stand, walk, and had to crawl to the bathroom. The pain was on a scale from 0-100 was 1,000! This was during Covid, as well. I received a referral for Dr. Syed, and my surgery was scheduled quickly. After meeting and researching him, there was no doubt in my mind that he was my surgeon. I never looked back, and it has been an amazing journey. I am and have been pain free, can walk all over, and resumed all normal activities within reason. Everything was explained to me by both doctors all along the way. In my opinion, they are brilliant and yet down to earth. Dr. Syed’s bedside manner is beyond compare. I am so very very grateful to him, Dr. Gologorsky, the excellent hospital staff, and excellent office staff.

Dr. Syed has a great bedside manner and was always thorough and insightful during follow up appointments! Although I had emergency surgery and did not get to choose my surgeon, I am so glad he treated me. I am pain-free and doing extremely well 6 months post op.

My experience with Dr. Syed was excellent. After 6 months and PT I still had issues and went to obtain a 2 nd opinion. He explained my options and answered all my questions. I chose surgery At Englewood Hospital. Everyone was very professional and attentive to my needs. My recovery and follow up was very good. Dr. Syed has great bedside manner and truly showed that he cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him.

Dr.Syed was amazing!!! I was having issues with my lower back went to see him. First appt finally got answers as to what was going on. He recommended surgery (spinal fusion, nerve release) ....surgery was a success I am now pain free and feel amazing !!!! Couldn’t have gone to a better doctor!! Great bedside manners!!

I can't say enough about Dr. Sayed. He absolutely took all the pain away and I am walking just great again after my spine surgery. Everything went exactly like he explained. He stayed in touch with me all the way thru. Could not have been in better hands.

I had a very positive experience with Dr Syed, who performed emergency surgery, following a head injury. Dr Syed has a great bedside manner and took the time to explain procedures and expectations etc. clearly. He was available and quick to respond personally when I had follow up questions or concerns. I had three herniated discs and have suffered from chronic back pain for almost 6 years. I have seen many physicians who I did not feel could help me or cared enough to. Dr. Syed, on the other hand, is one of the most professional and attentive physicians I have ever come across. Even though I was a candidate for surgery he respected and supported my decision to try other therapies first. When the time came for me to have surgery I was confident that I was in good hands. I’m recovering now and feel better than I have in a very long time. I would and already do recommend him to my family and friends who have herniated discs or issues with their back.

My visit was great. Everyone was courteous and efficient. I did not have to spend a lot of time waiting to see the Doctor. Dr. Syed explains everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. My laminectomy was successful thus far and I feel good. I had no pain so am not taking any meds for my spinal condition. I would refer him to anyone that needed back surgery.

Dr. Syed was wonderful for my mothers surgery. He provided great care, was responsive and made our family feel so comfortable before, during and after the surgery. The surgery was a great success and my mother’s recovery has gone amazingly well. My whole family is thankful for Dr. Syed‘s great attention and care throughout what could have been a very difficult and stressful time.

Dr. Syed took great care of my dad. My dad had debilitating back pain for over 6 months. He sought other treatments but nothing helped. He finally saw Dr. Syed and had surgery in August. He has been feeling great ever since. Moreover, Dr. Syed has great bedside manner and really seemed to care about my dad's well being. I would definitely recommend him to others.

It has been six months since my surgery. Each day is a joy and I am back to being active and doing all the things I have enjoyed. My life is my own and I am thrilled. I can't find enough words to express my gratitude and happiness with Dr. Syed.

Great bedside manner. Listens to questions intently and gives thorough explanations. He is never in too much of a hurry to answer more questions. Shows deep concern for my condition. I am up and walking now whereas before I couldn't even sit up without great pain and was confined to a wheelchair.

I met Dr. Syed in 2018 in reference to very serious spinal problems I were having, he was very professional, and immediately I felt comfortable meeting him, he listened to all my problems, and then he made recommendations to that will help my problem. I made the decision on my 2nd visit with Dr. Syed to have surgery, now 6 months later I'm totally recovered,and free of all the spinal problems I was having,my quality of life is much better, and am ready to return to all my exercise classes. Dr. Syed is a very Caring and Kind doctor,who cares for his patient through-out the entire process,I will highly recommend him to anyone who is having any type of spinal problems because of his professional manner, the great work he does,and the results he achieves.
