I had major back surgery done last Thursday. After 4 different back Drs refused, only wanting me to keep coming back for drugs, Dr Danissa understood my dilemma and stepped up to the plate. I had mylopathy and spinal stenosis of the cervix. My spine was all the way to the left side of my back and the L4 and L5 bones had to be fused into a metal rod, biometric device and bone graft. I was in CHRONIC pain. I now feel like my back is straight and so much better. This is the Dr to see! The BEST!!!!!

This doctor is a joke, my husband went to see him only 1 timefor severe pain in his neck( my husband has also had neck surgery) my husband needed to see this doctor to get pain management injections to make the pain he has from His surgery bearable. As anybody knows if you have surgery there is life long pain no matter how successful it was. This doctor never even had my husband show range of motion. He never even felt his neck, he did a MRI/Ct scan and said your fine and should be on no pain!

I saw Dr. Danisa with an issue of thoracic herniated discs and unusual muscle spasms. He explained what would occur if I proceeded with the surgery, that others who have had thoracic surgery were not happy and he could not guarantee that the muscle spasms would stop. He did recommend a treatment that no one else considered. I continued on with that treatment and although my spasms have not stopped, they are under control so that I have a life. I highly recommend this physician. I am an RN.

Dr. Danisa is a wonderful surgeon, he is caring, knowledgeable & communicates. I had 2 surgeries with him. The first was successful fixed a curvature in my spine and got to know him. Another problem that kept me on my back mostly for 1 1/2 years. Strong pain in hip and right leg that no one else could solve. Through his dedication to helping me he order the right tests to diagnose my pain. My surgery, that took a lot of work & I'm amazed at what he had to do. I'm back to my old life. Thank you.

Worst bedside manner. Doesn't listen to the patient. Did not even examine me both times I was seen. Tried to misdiagnose me. Unfortunately I received care and treatment from another physician.

I have been under the care of Doctor Danisa twice now with two surgeries also, Cervical in 2013 and now T1/2 this year, 2017 and am grateful for his work. I was not able to walk normal and was in continued pain however, I walk normal again and am so confident of not falling down as I was doing prior to this last surgery . I've a ways to go with PT and time for healing but, I'm comfortable in my own body once again. I don't even require a cane anymore! Thank You Doctor Olumide Danisa.
