I walked out with no diagnosis and 4 different medications. She’s kept calling my boyfriend my husband, said I needed to thank baby Jesus and god, and 99% of my appointment was the question of whether I wanted kids instead of asking about the seizures I had been having. Was given wrong information about license re-evaluation as well and wound up getting license suspended. Also answered two text messages in the middle of my appointment.

Doctor has a terrible attitude. If you have a loved one with Alz or dementia, do not take them here. They are quick to diagnose, but offer very little help or medication. They are clueless as to how much families dealing with sundowning loved ones are suffering - clueless. Unbelievable how unprepared the entire medical industry is for the aging population and issues like dementia. Having zero empathy also does not help.

I highly recommend Dr. Brusil. She does excellent work, listens completely, explains thoroughly, and is very kind. I will continue commute an hour in order to see her for my stenosis. Note: I did not answer the question about scheduling urgent appointments because I have never had to do that.

Brusil I am a fairly new patient of dr Brusil. In that short time I have come to trust her immensely. I am a 59 year old woman who became an epileptic at the age of 45. I had a right frontal lobectomy four years ago. My regular neurologist is in Pasadena, and since i am not able to drive that distance I needed a neurologist who is local and can treat a new neurological issue I am having. I was very skeptical about seeing a new neurologist, especially an HMO dr. I am not an easy patient to tre

I was referred by my pain specialists for an EMG. While conducting the test, Dr. Brusil asked pertinent questions related to my health history. In doing so, she quickly connected going too long without being properly diagnosed with Hashimotos Disease, and most likely currently being under treated for the same, as part of the cause for the neurapathy I am experiencing in both feet. I was able to pass this information on to my thyroid doctor who was then willing to explore adjusting my medications

My primary physician referred me to Dr.Brusil for my neurological condition. I have health insurance from major nationwide provider that would cover this visit. To my complete astonishment, Dr.Brusil declined to see me without specifying the reason. To my question why, they told me they don't discuss such matters with patients. Such doctors must be reported to Illinois Department of Health and stripped of their licenses.

Dr. Brusil changed my mom's life. She is the most caring and compassionate doctor who quickly recognized that my mom was suffering from Parkinson's disease. In addition she took the time to investigate and get to the bottom of her chronic pain issues. Dr. Brusil utilizes a patient centered systematic approach to treat her patients. My mom is now living her life almost pain free, her Parkinson's symptoms are controlled and we thank Dr. Brusil and her staff for everything they did to help her.
