I have been a patient of Dr. Fishman for almost 6 years, during which time he has helped me both understand and begin my recovery from Lyme disease and the co-infections that came with it. He is extremely patient in explaining the results of lab reports as well as his reasons for choosing the recommended treatments. I cannot imagine a doctor being more diligent, helpful, and intelligent about my treatment. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Fishman has helped 4 members of my family. He cured one daughter of Chronic Fatigue after other doctors could neither diagnose or help her. He helped another daughter come back from Lyme disease so debilitating she was out of college for a year; she just finished her MA. He diagnosed my husband's gluten sensitivity. He has brought me back to functioning after a terrible case of Lyme disease. I always recommend him to friends; they share my deep respect and appreciation for him.

Dr. Fishman has the power of killing with the antibiotics and supplements he prescribes; the "tests" he performs for lyme are never reproducible by any other doctors; he stands to gain from the sale of supplements by his own office; he makes the patient believe that their condition must be treated for years -- even when the tests clearly show that "Lyme" is no longer present; he prescribes dangerous levels of antibiotics and insists how important it is to keep up with the treatments.

      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

      Dr. Fishman's Care Philosophy

We view each patient as a whole person and approach diagnosis and approach diagnosis and treatment as an integrated process. We primarily treat people who have chronic, often complex conditions that have not been successfully or adequately identified and treated. Over the past eight years, our region has become the center of an epidemic of tick-borne illnesses and we have found ourselves more and more involved in the care of these conditions.
