He worked me in for surgery for a broken ankle in less than 24 hours. Before that, he gave the emergency room people at St. Vincent’s instructions on how to assist me right after my accident. He was so kind and compassionate. Afterwards when coming to his office for checkups, he was always on time. And he didn’t hurry. He answered all my questions. He also encouraged me in a kind way to get moving so my ankle would heal properly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Waldrop.

Dr. Waldrop and his staff have been patient and understanding, fitting me into a full surgery schedule after my accident, and taking many calls/questions from me during my long recovery. My regular follow-up visits over the past 8 months move efficiently through ck-in/xray and Dr. Waldrop always takes the time to explain where I am in the process, and answer all of my many questions. I appreciate the patience, compassion and professional care during my most difficult health crisis.

Recently, I had stubbed one of my toes on two different occasions, resulting in extreme inflammation and pain. After an examination by Dr. Waldrop, he felt that there might be a bone infection and recommended surgery. Following surgery, healing became apparent and I felt improvement daily. Dr. Waldrop was so kind and I am truly thankful for his expertise. There is no doubt where I will turn should a similar occasion occur in the future. He's the best!

Dr. Waldrop was insightful and clear on what he thought he could do, providing a realistic projection on the possible results. Then, he exceeded the results. He also was able to complete a restructure and rebuild a toe joint that several other physicians said could not be repaird. Very good experience and his staff was exceptionally sharp and friendly.

I went to see the doctor for potential surgery on my bunion. Other doctors were enthusiastic on the prospect, but Waldrop cautioned me that the surgery would be quite painful. He suggested some other common sense items, and assured me that my normal exercise would not create any additional problems for me. One year later, I am much more comfortable with no pain at all, and I avoided the surgery!

Outstanding repair job on the ruptured ligaments located on the outside of my ankle. Dr. Waldrop was very good in explaining the surgery and possible effects from the surgical repaired ligaments. His staff are the Best. I high recommend Dr. Waldrop and his team. My last visit with Dr. Waldrop was in January 2018 from the sidelines of the Alabama vs Clemson game in New Orleans. If Coach Nick Saban trust Dr. Waldrop with his players injuries, well that’s worth a lot. RTR

I highly recommend Dr. Waldrop. He done the surgery exactly as he said he would . Where he made the incision , there is no scar and it has been less than a year. He has extremely good bedside manners. My husband and I both love him. If I ever have to have surgery again, it will be Dr. Waldrop for sure.
