Excellent manor
Dr. Miyawaki has been my nephrologist for over 20 years. He is a patient physician who spends time reviewing and advising. I always come away from a visit knowing more about my health than before the visit.

Caring & Intelligent Nephrologist
Dr. Miyawaki is the most caring and intelligent physician that our family has ever encountered. He is extremely detailed-oriented and takes his time in explaining all necessary procedures which can be very difficult to understand as a senior. I highly recommend, Dr. Miyawaki as a nephrologist. I absolutely would not recommend him. In fact, I would say please don't go to him. HE IS COLD-HEARTED. I accompanied my sister to see him for a follow up visit while she was in rehab. I witnessed this whole thing myself. She was very sick, having trouble breathing, and said she needed help. But he refused to authorize for her to go to Winthrop Hospital which was across the street. I brought her on my own anyway and they admitted her because they could see she was obviously dying. We were begging him to let her go to the hospital but he cold-heartedly refused. She was desperate for relief as her head felt like it was boiling from all the cancer drugs she had taken over the years. He told her to go back to rehab. She was admitted to Winthrop that day and five days later went into hospice care. The following day she died. It was horrendous that with the way she looked he wanted her to go back to rehab, when she clearly needed to be hospitalized.

Dr Miyawaki is my nephrologist I'm on dialysis He is very caring and kind with excellent bedside manner plus he is an excellent doctor You couldn't find a nicer doctor

A doctor who always returns your calls, listens to you and actually considers what you say. He doesn't have that I'm the doctor and you're just the uninformed patient attitude. He is knowledgeable, caring and timely. What more can you ask for. Excellent.
