Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Sethi "I am a board certified neurologist with interests in Clinical Neurology, Epilepsy and Sleep Medicine. The human brain has always fascinated me from a young age and hence after finishing my residency in Internal Medicine (India), I decided to specialize in Neurology and further sub-specialize in Epilepsy and Sleep Medicine. My goal is to provide comprehensive care to patients suffering from various neurological conditions such as seizures, headaches, sleep disorders, back pain among others. Neurological conditions such as a sudden severe headache, a seizure or a stroke are frequently scary both for the patient and family. Patients seek answers to what plagues them. Early diagnosis and effective treatment is what patients seek and that is what I strive to provide."

in New York |
i went to dr. sethi after a horrible experience with another neurologist who gave me a sleep medicine that caused extreme weight gain and other issues. Dr. Sethi got me off the medicine and also answered all of my messages during the difficult six week withdrawal process. He did give me something that is helping with the sleep and not harmful. Also when i need new meds his office takes care of it right away. .i am glad i found Dr. Sethi.

You're in good hands. A very straight-forward and nice doctor. Really glad I saw him. I think you should too-if you have a head injury or a concussion. Not easy to get the appointment but he is working all the time, busy neurologist. Nice, helpful staff.

He ALWAYS takes time to explain treatment plans and ask if i agree to it and how my husband feels about it Ive been admitted there, marvelous facilities....lol
Astoria, NY |
Dr. Sethi has been my neurologist for about 4 years, and he has always been very thorough and detailed in all of his explanations. If I ever had trouble understanding something, he was kind and patient enough to go through it with me all over again, not caring how long it may take. He is caring and sweet, always responding to my emails and messages. Though I am not a big fan of his office staff/nurses (what made that 5 star a 4 star), I am a huge fan of his, and will always stick with him.
